Seems like everything remains the same.

I think they may keep it running for a while. Perhaps wait until everyone ported out or something.

Need to port out meh? Yoodo says Your existing subscription plan will continue under CelcomDigi Prepaid 5G., does it mean eventually we'll need to either pick edisi kuning or biru? Hope they'll let us continue enjoying existing Yoodo plans forever. Already paying 100+ for Celcom's legacy Mega plans for my main number.

I mean to say, since there is no new Yoodo users, they are keeping this "mode" for the remaining users.

Soon, people will either port out or something. Once the number of users go low to a point, they may move the leftover users to CelcomDigi's plan or something, send us new SIM etc.

Just my guess.

iinm, they are allowed to remain as 2 brands for time being, but eventually have to become single brand. They are not yet fully integrated, can see they are still working on tuning towers, which i believe is about freeing band that they have yet to surrender back to Gomen. Even SIM latches on to which brand you signed up through.

Now all new customers on postpaid will be on Digi system. Only prepaid their still kept the selection of Celcom but eventually all customers will on Digi system. As for the SIM maybe no SIM change needed. They can integrated Celcom IMSI to merge with Digi system. If not so many existing Celcom SIM customers need a new SIM. 😅

1. What network and billing will I be on when I sign up for the CelcomDigi 5G Plan?

If you are an existing Celcom customer, you will continue to be on Celcom network and billing. If you are an existing Digi customer, you will continue to be on Digi network and billing.

For port-in and new customers, you will be on Digi network and billing. Do note that Celcom and Digi network will soon be integrated, and you will be able to enjoy the same network experience whether you are on Celcom or Digi network.

Indeed. Even Celcom Bluecube stores will be integrated into Digi Stores, save on rental and retail channels. In a few days' time Bluecube of Sunway Pyramid will move into Digi Store in the same mall.

Shouldn't take more than a year till they finish integrating the networks. Sprint and T-Mobile's merger and consequent integration of network took 3 years, with their sheer size of their network and # of users being contra-ed off by our potential inefficiencies in Malaysian operations we might just be slightly quicker.

I ported out from Yoodo to CelcomDigi Postpaid last July at Bluecube. The process was smooth, went Bluecube around 4pm, successfully port in that night around 11pm. Luckily I'm under Celcom network and not Digi.

Alamak forgot to mention on the app too. The bluecube staff said yesterday that very soon there'll be a CelcomDigi app that supercedes Celcom and Digi apps. Was asking why the devs at Celcom decided it's a good idea to disallow users to access Celcom app when Developer Mode is turned on, he didn't answer the question but gave the CelcomDigi info instead lol

Does anyone with the High Speed plan know how fast is your speedtest after the change?

Currently using the Rm20 for 20GB plan and I checked that 1 day before (on Aug 28) the speed is around 150Mbps. Then 30th Aug I noticed the speed has gone down to 50Mbps though I have yet to try apples-to-apples comparison at the same place and time.

I did try to ask this to CelcomDigi and they did mention I will be on the Edisi Biru plan (which I notice has a 100Mbps limit). Want to know if others felt the same speed limit as I do as well or if this is just bad location and time on my part.
