Seems like Yoodo won't change from a user's perspective

Can it be used on mifi modem? I'm thinking of subscribing one

Pretty sure it will work. I used it on a 4g wifi dongle before.

Just make sure to activate it on the Yoodo app first and buy the data.

Yoodo does not send SMS to 63633 which Alliance bank uses. Reason being it is a number used by many other entities to send SMS, hence less secure.

I have done this before, even contacted Yoodo customer service.

Yoodo just won't work with Allianceonline app if you have not verified your phone before.

It is a dumb move by Alliance online to rely on SMS. No such issue for Hong Leong and CIMB. Not sure about other banks.

Either port out or don't use Alliance bank. I removed most of my money from Alliance due to this issue.

Hahaha terus withdraw duit. I think the cheapest solution is not to use alliance bank...

But how bout the future boss? Suddenly other apps require the same as alliance thingy then gg
*
Yeah, when that happens, gg.

But I don't think that will happen, as Hong Leong and CIMB has a better way of verifying your device.

They send us the SMS with a code instead if I remember correctly.

Then again, if it happens a lot, Yoodo may need to accommodate us since it is not only one bank.

Or port out, no choice. Yoodo lose money. Maybe Yoodo won't exist that long, who knows.

do I need to change a new plan tomorrow ?

Seems like everything remains the same.

I think they may keep it running for a while. Perhaps wait until everyone ported out or something.

Need to port out meh? Yoodo says Your existing subscription plan will continue under CelcomDigi Prepaid 5G., does it mean eventually we'll need to either pick edisi kuning or biru? Hope they'll let us continue enjoying existing Yoodo plans forever. Already paying 100+ for Celcom's legacy Mega plans for my main number.

I mean to say, since there is no new Yoodo users, they are keeping this "mode" for the remaining users.

Soon, people will either port out or something. Once the number of users go low to a point, they may move the leftover users to CelcomDigi's plan or something, send us new SIM etc.

Just my guess.

I be traveling to Hatyai for 4 days. Should I use Yoodo’s Roam Like Home plan or buy a Thai sim card? I only need data. Your experience and advise is appreciated. TIA
*
I have used Yoodo's roam like home in Bangkok, Macau and Japan.

I have issues the first time I went to Macau using roam like home, they could not fix it at the time but once I go back to Macau after two years, it was fixed.

No issues in Bangkok and Japan. Should be ok.

Not sure if you hit issues, will there we ample support.

I don't think you can. Probably need a new sim.
