It's neither! Yoodo is a new hybrid of prepaid and postpaid mobile. What this means is that it has all the functionality and monthly features of a postpaid plan, combined with all the flexibility and easy payment options of a prepaid plan. So no, we’re not a prepaid service. We aren’t postpaid either. We are simply Yoodo. [Yoodo]

What I quoted was Yoodo's reply to one the FAQs.

1) It is something like prepaid but you don't have to topup monthly.
All you have to do is link your CC or DC and it will act like auto debit every month.

2) Billing cycle is 30 days.
No unused data will be carried forward.

Hope this helps.
You can just read up more on the link that I attached above.

the concept if a bit different from the normal prepaid, any purchases of data, voice or sms and monthly payment is fixed by debit/credit card only. They don't have any channel of payments from any channels yet, but to my understanding from their admin, yoodo is not intended to be similar to another prepaid. Mostly they are trying to be unique, between prepaid and postpaid. That is why they call it hybrid.

Almost a month with Yoodo (port in from Celcom First Gold), the value is really matters on how you use your phone. If you need alot of calls time, and average data, I think you can benefit Yoodo Plan. But you need lil calls and more data, I think there are better telco plan out there.

5GB+1200min call time with RM42 (included GST), I got some saving monthly compare to Celcom First Gold (which I unable to fully utilize the data).

thats the minimum it has, 50sms RM3 and you can't send sms if you are not subs to that. But from the yoodo forum, they are considering to introduce lower minutes and sms.
