Hardly send sms, but subscribing 50sms per month is like a waste.
Can we send sms if dont subscribe to SMS bundle?
*
otherwise, alternative is XOX or Tunetalk.

how is validity work for this sim? is there like long 1 year validity addon for it?  hmm.gif

I'm using it as spared phone with Rm5 per month for 50 min call.

It is a postpaid where u have to pay monthly.

U cant use the credit for call unless u subscribe to call plan.

And 1GB ...where got enough even it is free.
For total rm23 for 20GB.....monthly for data.

Don't think any telco can match it for now for monthly subcription.
*
also to take note that Tunetalk already discontinued their Vibe+200 plan (20gb/month at RM15.70++/month).

Yoodo RM20=20GB mmg cheapest high speed Internet as of now.

Hi , Im currently using celcom xpax , although i know yoodo is under celcom but does their line work well in KL , pahang areas ? Because i often going between these two locations.
*
u using celcom xpax, so how is the coverage?

yoodo is using the network as celcom same tower. therefore, it is EXPECTED to be exactly the same coverage, if not same, just lodge to SKMM.

Just received my simcard today. Woot! Less than 24 hours from time ordered to my doorstep. Excellent delivery service, I must say. I asked the guy, said he's from a courier company called FMX (?).

Anyway, going to activate it later tonight. Before I do, any tips on which 'base' plan I should go for? The RM3 SMS one or the RM12 2GB data plan? I'll mainly be using this sim for data tethering to PC, so will most probably be buying the data addon (or was it booster?) later. Or...can I just buy the data addon/booster without subscribing to a 'base' plan? Read a few previous pages in this thread, quite confused and not sure if the info is still valid.

Appreciate any feedback, thanks in advance.

since u already know the term "add-on", what do u think "add-on" is?

Definition of "add-on"
a : a sum or amount added on
b : something (such as an accessory or added feature) that enhances the thing it is added to

therefore, u need to order a base plan. base plan depends on ur usage. if pure data, of cz base data, no point go for SMS.

Hmmm. I just found the link below, which seems to show that add-ons refer to separate data buckets specifically for certain apps, e.g. IG, FB, Youtube, etc. While boosters are additional 'raw' data which can be used for any apps or use case.

https://support.yoodo.com.my/hc/en-us/artic...rs-and-add-ons-

Yoodo should really clear up these two terms, or else change either one to something else. Quite confusing IMHO.
*
actually add-on u still need a base data plan to go on. e.g if u want to add PUGB Mobile 20gb, u need a base plan with data first.

their booster, is much more like, after u done ur plan, suddenly in the middle of month, u deplete all ur data, u need a booster plan in order to continue surf.
