the live tv channel no 4k. majority is 720 and 480.
The box support 4k in the sense that it can playback 4k video(e.g. play the 4k video save on ur usb drive).

The Easy TV apps is the same across all version. 2S+ MY version got an additional Malaysia server with 14 channel.
Pro+ and Plus got additional stuff that 2S+ doen't have.
If you just wanna watch live tv, 2S+ is enuf.

If you wanna watch mal xtro, evpad more stable(based on past 9 month performance) and the number of channel also double.
Go for ubox if you watch HK TVB pearl more. Their TVB pearl image sharper. It also have Mobile VOD which evpad doesnt have.

nope as both of them usually dont just sell streaming subscription.
there is another one time pay based iptv provider that has rich number of channels including malay language channel and majority of its channel able to stream smoothly.
however it only operate less than 3 years. i have seen many one time iptv provider do boom bastic marketing but cannot survive more than 3 years.

No xtra AOD channel. But the same drama is shown on HK TVB Channel Pearl as xtro bought the license to live the same show at the same time.
Malaysia channel same.
Nowdays suggest either get 2S+ or Plus.
2S+ receive several upgrade all the malaysia chinese essential program is there ady. 2S+ should be enuf to cover all ur needs and it is pocket friendly.
Get Plus if you are demanding. Beside high spec, Plus got HDR. if your got new tv with hdr support, the picture output is more vivid compare to the other 2.
Pro+ no significant advantage compare to 2S+ except the 5 GHZ wifi and additional 8GB storage

Yes you can play rmvb files in usb drive with VLC or MX player install.

Evpad by default come with Google Play store because it is Hong Kong box, less headache
For china box like mibox, zidoo then u need to root it to install google playstore cos no google allow inside china firewall

emovie is another apps for vod. running on another seperate server compare to vod server share by evpad pro+ and evpad 2S+
If you are into vod, get unblock better. Evpad's vod i would rate it as average as some show cannot be open.

evpad win ubox by stable malaysia xtro chinese channel.
ubox won evpad by vod and got additional web vod.

the price different between gen4 16gb and gen5 16gb is only different by RM30. recommend u get gen5 better. RM480 for gen 5.
Suggest either 2S+ or Plus skip the PRO+, the 2S+ ady good enuf for Live TV. 2S+ is budget friendly, go for plus only if you prefer better graphic output and your TV support HDR. TV without HDR the image output will be brighter only if put plus.

evpad malaysia xtro chinese channel very stable(based on past 12 month comparison), ubox i like their TVB jade higher resolution.
If you watching chinese live tv channel more or less the same and they both add and remove channel time to time.
One thing to highlight, there is not point comparing total number of channel, as the chinese channel more or less the same unless u interested with other county like portugal or russia live channel.

If you dont need malaysia xtro then go for ubox, if you need xtro then evpad.

I have Korean customer, he watch both korea and english live channel. He tried both evpad pro+ and ubox 4 and give me a feedback that ubox 4 so much better.
resolution is only 720p. not all channel got 720p summore.

got adult channel. will prompt for password when trying to access adult channel.
Ubox adult channel is bundle into the live tv and vod apps. you cant turn it off.
Evpad ways is adult content in another separate apps, just dont install the apps will do.
