ur system may look not too hardcore..maybe recommended to upgrade for 500w for extra precaution coz overclocking the thuban chips seem use a lot of wattage..

are you indicating that toughpower is not good because it's not branded like silverstone or enermax? can you please elaborate more on 'branded'? what actually it means here? and are you trying to tell us that all silverstone/enermax > tt toughpower? care to post and review indicating this? or personal experience? i believe there are 3 main questions there. thanks.

Seasonic should be better literally because a lot of Silverstone PSU's have high ripple and don't have the efficiency they are advising at.

Thanx man ! i really appreciate that . im planning to get

i7 930
kingston hyperx 1600mhz ddr3 6GB
gtx 460 sli
p6x58d-e board

will seasonic x750 will be more than enough even though i overclock it to the max possible ? or get a 850w model which isnt out yet for seasonic.

what do u think guys ?

im afraid in the future i wanna upgrade cards and i don want to change to another psu.

thanx !

I'm looking forward to a PSU upgrade to overclock my rig as my current PSU isn't stable at 12v, it keeps going below 12v. I want to overclock slightly more maybe around 3.5-3.6GHz.

AMD Athlon64 X2 7750 Black Edition (currently OCed at 3.2GHz)
2 x 2GB Kingston Value RAMs
ATI Radeon HD4850
3 HDDs inside

Currently I'm using CoolerMaster eXtreme Power Plus 460W which I believe isn't a true power PSU. With a budget of say RM300-RM350, which PSU with true power can I get? Will it be able to support quad core processor (most probably getting a quad some time next year)?

If you have a better suggestion, do suggest as well but of course must be close to my budget. Thanks! biggrin.gif

Probably ST56F or the ST60 non modular, or you can go for Seasonic 620W....CM GX series can also be considered but please read certain reviews regarding the PSU...
