QUOTE(ocz @ Mar 3 2008, 01:27 AM) I would vote for corsair HX620,I am currently using it... performance wise is about same with the PC P&C one, price wise corsair one would be higher, corsair still my choice because it is modular one, and the modular cable are different with other, thin and easy to hide it, u can go to johnnyguru website to see the review of it. QUOTE(ocz @ Mar 3 2008, 01:35 AM) since when PC P&C PSU is made by OCZ?OCZ PSU actually is OEM by someone else, not from OCZ themself... they just have the design and sticker belongs to them. corsair one also like tat, if not mistaken, corsair HX620 is made by seasonics. |

QUOTE(ocz @ Mar 3 2008, 11:02 PM) aiyak?? u going to buy the HX620 aa??well its up to u... but try to read the quote below... better go for the single railing... QUOTE Due to their look, convenience, and cost savings for manufacturers, modular plugs have become a popular power supply feature. Unfortunately, there has been little or no discussion of the impact of this feature on overall performance and reliability. The fact is, modular plugs limit power by adding to electrical resistance. The voltage drop can be as much as would occur in 2 feet of standard wire. Worse yet, modular plugs utilize delicate pins that can easily loosen, corrode, and burn, creating the potential for a major system failure. That's why professional system builders specify uninterrupted wire! |

I believe it should not affect normal or anything below an 100% OC.. its just theory though.. we wont notice it anyways.

thats where silverstone thrives. The distro interasia is pretty good. I like the corsair too, but because of this issue i went for the st56f rev3.1 instead.

Well, its great IMO,i mean the one that bro shawty sell. But i have to make a pass.because......................... QUOTE(lehteck @ Mar 4 2008, 11:10 PM) OP series and corsair also good hahaha:P Nice power supply gonna get bro.I think i will give a Corsair a try later.i also targetting for hx520 now:) waiting new shipment in only@ After all problems,reviews,opinions.........I think,my final choice of power supply will be the PC power & cooling 610W only.IMO,its cheap, reliable as been mentioned by some other user (reviews). PC power & cooling cons - non modular,no 120mm fans,single-rail. pros - 1st tier, powerful single 12V@49A. Corsair HX620 cons - Availability,2nd tier. pros - Modular, cheap for a good performance,quad-rails,powerful. Thats what i learned in this two months of review. |
