Can anyone suggest a good place to get TT Hongli kit in KL ? I'm interested in the silver coloured Akatsuki but this shop at Berjaya Time Square is selling it at RM99 (which I think is quite expensive for a knockoff kit tongue.gif ).

I didnt mean tt hongli is a crappy brand, in my question I only want to make sure the models that he saw were tt hongli brand. if u r not keen on revealing the place, can u at least tell me the price u bought it at? maybe wisma saberkas?

i think he's referring to other crappy brand.
well.. indirectly he might be refering tt hongli as crappy brand.
i don't know whether they crappy or not.
they are definitely a knock-off of bandai for sure, so no need to defend tthongli blush.gif

for me i'm always satisfied with the tthongli i bought...maybe cuz i close with the tauke and before i buy he allow me to open inside and check the content details.

if we don't count plastic quality tthongli almost 90% similar to bandai. even the engravings and details are very clear.

silver akatsuki? that's cool. post the photos if anyone bought it haha.

The shop is 1 floor below Graffiti Toys (forgot the name). They also sell some RC toys as well. I think there are other shops there that sells knockoff Gundams. Have to go survey tomorrow unsure.gif .

Well other than those qualities (clear, 90% similarly or clearer molding) I know nothing beats Bandai qualities plastic. Mostly I use those parts for testing or kit bash purpose only. But definitely those brands other than Bandai can’t keep it long due to it really easily to break overtime.

i think MG and PG MIGHT be still acceptable for tthongli gundam. I have a set of oowashi akatsuki gundam 1/144 by tthongli, all i can say its very awful. The coating colour is kinda good, but then a lot parts u can't close up totally, u can see a huge gap between pieces
