errmm, how do you download an incomplete file from azureus in xunlei? (e.g: 50% complete)

Some user said it can be done by seeding the incomplete file from azureus and download it using xunlei? But how? What are the steps?

i believe now xunlei support emule already! but speed is not actually tat promising...4 some downloads of coz.. some it can go very fast depend on d source..1 thngy i dun like BT is tat new thngy very fast, old thngy complete halt...since no 1 seeding..

there are no hashcheck yet for xunlei if i'm not mistaken. so there is no way you can seed file if you don't download it using xunlei at the first place.

i am new to this software. i jus install it and the DL speed i get the most only 50kb.
How come some ppl can get until few hundred kb. Can share the configuration.
Is it different location, ip, or modem got effect on this software?

Actually....Xunlei program is working fine no matter what configuration. It all depends on Seeders and Leechers. I left mine to default settings, and i see my downloads hitting 50KB at times(my line is 512kbps package). sometimes 30+ and on bad days also...less than 10kbps.

Also did anyone here read the FAQ at http://blog.scuforum.net/2007/06/01/xunleis-faq/


Some torrents can hit amazing speeds while some are below 10KB.
Have some patience...your download also depends on how much they upload. Its not an immediate effect where you see your speed reach 100KB after starting the torrent.

Just let it run overnight...there is no magical cure for download speeds. Its StreamyX we're talking about.
