budget: less then 5k
brand: toshiba, sony, or any u sifus' recomend brand.

14" widescreen good dipslay tech or any that comes with yall advice and reco.
1 * 1gb ram max upgrade 4gb ? or 2gb which eva the unit comes with.
light weight best less then 2.5kg
GC need you guys to help out, best is i prefer 128 mb dedicated. and other 128 is shared. is it how this works ? lol i got no idea ><''

acer also not bad actually for casual use. get an acer, save money somemore. but you also can go for compaq v3000 series. both have price range 1900~2400.

How about acer gemstone 5920? RM4299 with santa rosa technology. Spec:
Intel C2D T7100,1GB Ram,GF8600GT(great graphic),...and nice design.

performance doesnt have to be superb, since mobility is more important.

i guess is Benq S31 for you since the tight budget ..it is a nice rig plus it is chick magnet lol ..
