Unifi 800? Acceptable to me.

Tempted to get this Tenda AC18 router & flash to Merlin Firmware. Banana cannot read Chinese n the Google translation is difficult to understand. Anybody got a better english guide to flash?. Thx

if you have prior experience in flashing merlin firmware, the steps are all the same. In brief, get to CFE page, upload your firmware and clear nvram.

the tutorial steps are quiet lengthy because of the detailed steps (how to connect, what ip to set etc)

Where to check Tenda AC18 CPU temperature? Stock firmware.

stock cannot, if merlin can.

Any solution for this? Even if I downgraded to the older firmware, reset.. also cannot connect to my Unifi.

Did that too, but no luck.

These are all the firmware I've tried.

can u confirm u got choose the special requirements from ISP and unifi?
or just flashed to merlin settle.

Yes I did choose Unifi as the ISP.

sure merlin this can work? won't want to get into trouble... I haven't able to contact Tenda for support yet.

Tomorrow morning I will call Tenda to check. I upgraded the firmware despite able to access the internet because I couldn't locate the media on my hard disk connected to the router via USB. After the upgrade, I can locate the media on my Smart TV but not able to access internet.

Then tried to downgrade the firmware, reset... all just failed.
