thinking of attending their walking interview,btw,that is the job scope of a gsa?

anyone had worked before as GSA at genting before? i've got the job and wanted to know hows the environment/job like. need more info on this~ 3 months probation and they paying me wif 1.8k... dunno included allowance or not.

im afraid quite hard to mix with people there haih... coz im shy and quiet type. Interview also i went alone... so probably no friends and lonely up there. can die lol. can anyone share their experiences of meeting ppl etc... and let me know what to do on reporting day hehe.

1.8k is basic. u will still get your allowance although still in probation so you will hit >2k
No worries la..u wont be alone because you will get to know people during your training. I went for interview myself too but somehow somewhere there will be some 'angels' being overfriendly up there.

BTW, congratz. Dont overspend on your first month there

I would like to know what is the current salary for croupier at GH now.
Going up end of this year, after my STPM exam.
Get all the confirmation ad. Just forgot to ask the salary.

Help me out please, how about OT, tips and public holiday's salary.

During your first month up there, you will be going through training so you won't get the basic yet.
Salary is counted this way

Basic RM1500 (not yet deduct epf + socso)
Allowance RM300 (full attendance + no lateness + no MC)
PH 2x rate
OT = Basic/days in a month/8 hours x 1.5 = OT rate per hour

No tips

croupier salary can hit 2.8k per month plus ot?

Added on November 9, 2012, 2:39 amNot everyday you will get OT because you will have to apply for OT one month before the date and on that day you picked, the deployment department will display the name list for those who is picked for OT for that day.

My calculation for MAX income

Early of the month pay:
Basic RM1500 minus EPF+Socso around: RM1330

Middle of the month pay:
Full attendance: RM300
25 (consider everyday you get OT) working days x maximum 4 hours OT : RM930
4 Working On Leave (WOL maximum you can get is 4 days, one day off day in a month you ok boh?) : RM400
Total (minus epf again): RM1450

Total salary credit into account MAX: RM2780 working 12/13 hours everyday with one off day a month considering no PH and no OT during WOL

I tried. I fainted middle of the month.

Added on November 9, 2012, 2:44 amAll employees under RWG are prohibited entering Casino & Hotels from the date of employment until 2 years from last day of employment.
Usually people working up there save a lot of money because accommodation + food is provided for most dept.
Can gamble 4D only. LOL

accountants... depends on which department you are in. hotel? casino? some need you to work according to shifts. mostly 9-5.
otherwise... it's still the same... but if you are a executive, you'll be entitled to 1k meal allowance to be used at various outlets owned by Genting.

how about management trainee? can provide more info bout it?
where the accountants gonna work, at wisma genting or? the theme park there?

do all the fresh grads get interviewed first, and hows the process like after that? training for few months ? or?

not so sure of the accounting dept, cause i believe they have different offices in the highland and also at wisma genting.
of course there will be interview, but Genting's interview isnt that hard at all... i got a job as a technical support for the casino, kind of easy to get tru the interview process.
probation period for genting staffs is 6 months.

fyi, depends on your dept, some dept won't have opening for promotion for years.... so do keep that in mind..

opening for promotion means..promoted to higher position?

Can i ask work as croupier or gsa can take leave during cny?
for eg, if i dec & jan i not take my 4days leave per month,
then i acculumated 8days leave. can i use it for my cny leave?

for cny leave, it's very hard for you to get especially if you are in probation period. imagine you have to 'fight' with all others croupier/gsa in GH for the leave.during my time, i was lucky that my group was having off day on chinese new year while the other groups have to work. if you work on cny, you will get big angpao.
