You'll pay the standard medical fee/operation fee. The room is charged accordingly. Single/Double Executive would be RM300/night. Single First class would be RM 160. Double First class would be RM130. Four bedded 1st class would be RM80. Govt employee would be given priority for the first class rooms if i am not mistaken.

I trying to call hosp to do booking but no one answer, in the web, they say can walk in.

Try to call below number for Hospital Putrajaya FPP Scheme. I did that few weeks ago and the nurse gave me an appointment to go for briefing and fill up form. Today went for the briefing, then nurse checked my pink book and scheduled my first appointment with the chosen doctor.

When did you call? I wasn't aware today got briefing.. and I called a month ago.. my briefing is later this month.. hmm

Went for briefing. Their policy changed d. Cannot book room you want in advance. Just when check in during labor, see which room is available. Additional doctor consultation fees every time you see your chosen specialist which would cost you additional 200 or so each time.

I repeat, cannot book your choice of room

Any Dr recommend? Seems like everyone chose Dr Thow.

Price remains completely free for walk in. Else FPP prices are as shared earlier. Only difference with FPP is you get to choose a doctor to deliver your baby, and can consult this doctor prior to delivery (which is subject to fees and the same long government hospital queues).

Problem is.. the doctor might be on call or unavailable on your due date, then they'll find someone else anyway.. also, your preferred doctor (out of 5) is usually fully booked 6 months into the future already...

My baby daughter was given a due date on 21/02/2020 +6 days to induce labour if the baby still doesn't want to come out.

The policy now is to walk in to pymt counter, register yourself, wait for available room (hospital will call u), then only pay deposit and admission.

yes, usually they will just give u wad obstetrik 2D (no penjaga allowed)

then if wad eksekutif 5A is available they will ask if you want to be transferred there. (penjaga allowed so husband can stay over)

in my case, my wife is given wad obstetrik 2D, twin sharing, no penjaga allowed, then on the next day we were asked if we want to upgrade to twin sharing wad eksekutif 5A in which we agreed to.

i find that wad eksekutif 5A is older than wad obstetrik 2D in terms of the building age, and there were no sofa chair for penjaga to stay overnight. end up i requested 2 blankets from the nurse and slept for the night.

my wife and baby has both been discharged as i write and we settled down in a confinement center.

total bill amounting to about 3.3k

-emergency c section, spinal anesthetic, pharmacy & etc
*baby phototherapy is free of charge

i am truly grateful for the helpfulness of the nurses. very professional and patient.

Note the charges for operation and there will be separate charges for the bed.

My wife still hesitating to choose putrajaya walk in (FPP cancel due to Covid-19 and hospital informed us to just walk in later on).. currently visiting Sunway velocity medical centre, putrajaya hospital so far any issue ?

When is ur wife due date? I'm also facing the same issue & went to sunway velocity. The funny part is, yesterday putrajaya called n tell me fpp is now open & asked us whether we're still interested?
So pening now 😅
