Actually, the 3 external antennae are for the 5 GHz. The 2.4 GHz antennae are internal.
*
the 6 antenna is V2

see internal picture from FCC file attached, V2 = 6 antenna, V4 = 3 antenna.

Hi all.
Who has reboot issue try to change your power adapter.
Try to use 2A or 2,5A power adapter instead of 1A power adapter.
Maybe reboot issue will be gone.
Power adapter is not expensive.

Tested, same problem occurred.
Also cool it down with fan, same problem occurred.
Best solution is get other wireless router. smile.gif

I personally blame TP-Link.
C1200 hardware is good. Too bad its firmware suck.

How do you hammer the router? 24/7 torrenting with unlimited connection? icon_idea.gif
*
Tp-Link if solve C1200 problem, then C1200 become better then Archer C7. smile.gif

Updated on first page. Thanks.
edit:
....
Hmm? Seem like 20180308 adds Wake On Lan (WOL) feature.
Wireless driver and something about IPv6 being modified, but no idea what is being modified.
That all about it.

Do you have any idea what they edit will solve the random reboot problem?

if C1200 is not connected to modem, just by itself and let it power on, can we check it got random reboot problem?

Mine's running FW V1.1.3 Build 20180124 rel.52299 (EU). ................
your setting is very similar to default.
i also try that FW before using similar setting except having more feature turn off. it rebooted during halfway internet banking while no other heavy usage and Unifi TV was off. got piss off and replace with Archer C7. now so far so good. smile.gif

Bro, i saw the router come with power adapter, if let it on 24/7, the power consumption must be quite high.

Thank you.  rclxms.gif
I will test it and provide the outcome of the test.
This is a high performance router. I haven't check my electric bill. Just only 2 weeks + bro. I will let you know if it consumes electricity compared with other routers. Even my previous asus ac87r comes with adapter. all high end router does comes with adapter to be precise.  biggrin.gif
*
Archer C7 consume 4.5W of power, Archer C1200 consume around 7W the last time i check.

Hi,

Can I know what brand/model of that power measurement device you using there?
*
mine is generic no brand one, you can find new models at Lazada, search for "ac electricity meter" cost around RM50.

if you want branded, Uni-T brand is not bad.
