QUOTE(JohnLai @ Feb 21 2018, 01:35 AM) .... RoxyGalA question for you. You said tftp flashed TM firmware automatically reset to EU version after reboot..... Try these. 1) TFTP older version of the firmware C1200v1_eu_tm-up-boot-1.0.0 Build 20170905 rel.41738_2017-09-05_13.51.02, but DON'T REBOOT once you are able to access TM firmware configuration page. 2) Right away flash the current C1200v1_eu_tm-up-boot-1.0.0 Build 20180208 rel.57928_2018-02-09_10.03.18 via the 41738 upgrade pages. Tried this way as well, after i TFTP older version of the firmware C1200v1_eu_tm-up-boot-1.0.0 Build 20170905 rel.41738_2017-09-05_13.51.02 and wait the router the power cycle and reboot. And after reboot, it will still be the same international firmware. There will be no TM configuration page at all.

No no....what I mean is, first you tftp 41738 into the router (don't reboot yet after you tftp 41738), then upgrade to 57928 directly at 192.168.0.1 page. You said you are able to view TM firmware configuration page (the 5ghz high channel wifi list) after successful tftp, but it revert back to EU after reboot right? Following the above method ought to work.

QUOTE(boxsystem @ Feb 16 2018, 11:36 AM) Same here. Hence I totally ditched the router and continue using my RT14UHP again. Guess, I would have to save and fork out some cash for an AC Asus Router then. Re-flashed firmware from EU support page. Will monitor conditions. Current page.. Vlan tagging 600 doesnt work. My HyppTV collapsed. Kahkahkah. Now, using it as Repeater for upstairs. I still need to get rid of the homeplug because it's really giving poor output in a 3-phase house. This C1200v1_eu-up-1.1.3 Build 20180124 rel.52299 firmware is still very prone to uncommanded reboots.
12 hours and reboot 8.5 days and reboot

This is what happened to me too and resorted to finally drilling holes all around the house to lay out the cables for a piece of mind once and for all.

I am quite satisfied with this Wireless router, it does not give me any problem at all and WiFi coverage is good for my house for whole family use. so, no need to consider upgrade at this moment. Check if your WiFi channel is congested, try change to other Channel that is not congested. This post has been edited by Alex9182: Feb 25 2018, 12:58 PM Attached thumbnail(s)

Can't, just tried it. Once the recovery firmware is transferred to the router, it will automatically reboot. Cannot restore any of the UniFi firmwares. It will restore the AU v1.1.1 Build 20170706 rel.65715 and Beta firmwares. Reverting to the Beta firmware. The latest v1.1.3 Build 20180124 rel.52299 firmware is terrible for me. Keeps rebooting.

Sigh, I just sent email to TP-Link support again asking on how to revert back to Malaysia firmware from EU firmware. Let see if TP-Link will reply to me. Don't put too much hope.....

Currently testing the famous cylindrical router, dlink dir850l router which purchased last week through a forumer (new tm set wrapped box (virgin) in plastics). The router comes with 2.09TM firmware pre-loaded when i open the box since the router is new. What i can say, apart from the annoying @unifi behind the ssid, the wireless coverage were awesome and far more better than that c1200. I don't know why people hate this router. For me it is working great. I am using google dns but disabled the ipv6. Streaming HD and 4K movies via wireless were superb. Besides that, I feel that the router is cute and perfectly fits even in small place. Although i against the suffix unifi thing, but, this firmware quite stable for me and still running successfully for about a week without even a single reboot. I feel one of the best routers supplied by tm besides the innacomm / innatech router and the dir615, i feel dir850l can get the title as well. This is my point of view and my experience of using the router. No offence. btw, im staying in 20x70 square feet double storey house. Router located at upstairs and I can get the signal even at my front garden (1/5 bar)
