Tbh I dont surprise if King Carlo came back to Stamford Bridge.

Luis Enrique maybe won the Champions League but in Barcelona he got Messi, meanwhile we only got Hazard. Hazard last night is ok but he needs to shoot more. Plus Spurs keep going around kicking him, that doesnt help him so much.

I would say this season is only better than the season we finish in tenth position.

Conte keep on breaking the records, not in a good way this season. We failed to beat Arsenal in five meeting, we failed to muster a single shot on target at Manchester City, we failed to be Spurs which we always did at home.

Thanks for the memories Conte. You are on borrowed time.

Maurizio Sarri is perfect for Chelsea if they want to pursue attacking football, and we might be able to keep hazard.

this tactic might work against high pressing team, but not sure against mour-bus

I'm so disappointed with how we performed. I think Conte has to go at this point. I would LOVE for long-term stability, but it is quite clear, his heart isn't even there anymore. The players themselves look like they're not playing for him. I just want this season to be over at this point.

Player ratings (1-10, 10=best; players introduced after 70 minutes get no rating)

GK Willy Caballero, 6 -- An erratic display that saw some brilliant saves along with some awful moments with the ball at his feet. Some question marks over whether he might have kept out Eriksen's equaliser.

DF Antonio Rudiger, 7 -- His long-range passing continues to be an asset for the team as he sprang several attacks. Unfortunately allowed Son Heung-Min to run off him for the third goal.

DF Andreas Christensen 5 -- His difficult spell continued despite a reasonable start to the game. Lost Alli for his first goal which seemed to affect him as his decision making collapsed after that.

DF Cesar Azpilicueta, 7 -- Made some vital interventions and also got forward on occasion to decent effect. Fired a late volley well wide.

MF Victor Moses, 6 -- Set up Morata's goal with a wonderful cross in a decent first half but saw his contribution diminish after the break. Wasted a number of decent openings and was often caught out of position. Also gave the ball away in the lead up to Eriksen's opener.

MF N'Golo Kante, 8 -- Chelsea's best player by a distance. Popped up everywhere winning the ball and surged forward at every given opportunity.

MF Cesc Fabregas, 6 -- Actually did reasonably well in the physical midfield battle but failed to supplement that with his usually judicious use of the ball.

MF Marcos Alonso, 7 -- Took up some excellent attacking positions though will be disappointed not to have scored despite a number of attempts. Seemed exhausted in the second half and was substituted.

FW Eden Hazard, 6 -- Was unable to deliver the moments of magic his team required despite plenty of endeavour. Was starved of the ball, which didn't help.

FW Willian, 6 -- Had a few bright moments in the first half before fading after half-time. Only had one shot at goal, which curled harmlessly wide.

FW Alvaro Morata, 7 -- Showed excellent movement and desire without always getting the reward. Took his goal well but struggled to impose himself in the second half.

Roman no intervention, but all his key ppl is the board. board controls the club. if no board, probably will mean no Roman as well.
i also no trust enrique also. or tuchel even. honestly, if chelsea were to go back to being defensively strong etc, probably Simeone is the right man. but then again, i dont think that is the direction they would go.

board needs a serious look at the squad. whether Conte In or Out, the squad isn't good enough to challenge for anything, dont even say 4 competition at once.

keeper = Courtois better make up his mind whether he is leaving or not. He is a great goalkeeper but I think he is getting ahead of himself. He thinks he is the best (or one of the best in the world) and it was debatable a season or two back.
but now, he is way behind DDG. The guy better suck up his ego and make a decision so we know we can keep him or offload him. definitely replaceable.

back 3 = not the same back 3 as last year PL winning squad. Luiz and Conte obviously have fallen out, not sure why.
Last season Luiz is our playmaker from the middle back 3, playing long balls forward and pushing the ball forward to start the attack. now he is replaced by Christensen, who is still quite raw and inexperienced. Plenty of potential, mistakes and fatigue bound to happen. but Christensen play style is more defensive, so he is used to cover the backline while Azpi and Rudiger pushes up. seems like this creates a lot of space instead for opponents to attack and we are conceding too much.

Rudiger also very much potential player but not yet near a finished product. good replacement for Cahill but plenty of room for improvement still.
Azpi.. cant say much. this man has done so much for the club already. Losing him will definitely be a big loss for us.

wingback = Alonso and Moses. need more depth AND quality. Wingback are very essential to this Conte style, but requires a lot of stamina, power and speed. we bought Zappacosta and Emerson but both also relatively unknown and doesn't seem to be able to displace our main wingbacks.
the problem with Moses isn't a natural wingback and he is pretty limited in his abilities. opponents already figured him out what he is going to do when he crosses etc. he needs to improve more. Alonso is a great wingback for me. but definitely need someone to push him sometimes or play in his place because fatigue really hits these 2.

CM = Kante, we don't deserve him, seriously. The guy will walk into any team and instantly make it better in the center.
Fabregas, probably our most experienced player on the pitch right now, but he is getting old and defensive liability. playing him means we need Kante to do the job of 2 defensive midfielders, 1 to chase the ball, 1 to protect cesc. Unless we can fit a 3 man midfield, then we can use him as a creative outlet. still a very potent player, but the system needs to fit him.
Bakayoko I think still a long way to go. he is young, have the physical size but needs to do alot better. Barkley and Drinkwater probably signings just to fit the homegrown quota. selling Matic was a big mistake by the board, no doubt, but it seems like he always wanted to leave to go back to Jose.

Hazard. we know how magical he can be, but despite his magic we still need the goals. world class player, but needs a stronger mentality. he seems to be a nice guy, but doesn't seem to have that thirst for trophies and glory. I think thats the difference or the gap he needs to bridge to be even considered near players like Messi and CR7. Jose and Conte knows this and they both said the same thing to push him.

Willian, always perform when the rest aren't. This guy heart is at Chelsea. Dont mind him staying but he is getting older now. sometimes still do bad decision making at the final 3rd and not young anymore. can slowly find a replacement for him and Pedro. inb4 selling Salah was a big mistake :lol;

ST = Morata really needs to hit his form and be more consistent. he is a good striker, with plenty of potential, but haven't proven himself at the highest level despite winning so many trophies with RM. I think he is suitable to Conte's system as a striker that makes run and link up play, but he needs to be stronger to be in the PL. in the end, a ugly c*nt striker like a Costa still fits our system and PL more.

bench, nothing much to say. our best players on the pitch already. looking at the bench, there's only Giroud left to try to change the game. I like Giroud but he just a stop gap solution. Probably gone after his contract ends. Batshuayi doesn't fit Conte's system because he doesn't link up play, more of a poacher in the box. maybe another manager can utilize him better.

I am with Conte on this. the squad either needs time or an overhaul. but Conte might not have the time or is the right man for the squad. he seems more interested in fighting with the board over transfers and players than doing his job on the pitch. the passion we saw from him last season is gone. its like he is slowly becoming Wenger and just stand around doing nothing. down 2 goals at 66th min, finally throwing in subs at 80th min to try and chase the goals?

now our best record broken by Spurs. just disappointed about how it happened. rolled over in the 2nd half.
Spurs indeed have a great squad now, and they are on the up. Blue and Red crashing instead and if we aren't careful, we might be get left behind if London Red do a drastic change. ok rant done, just sharing my 2c. sekian~

TLDR:
-Roman need pay Conte £9.5m and possibly more for his training staffs goodbye if he sacks Conte. No Champion League, Conte will face goodbye.
-Conte may go back to Italy national team or PSG.
-Former Chelsea boss Gianluca Vialli who is said to be close with Conte, he says Conte can't wait to leave Chelsea as he grows disillusioned with Chelsea transfer policy.
-Real Madrid may offer £132 million and Gareth Bale for the two Chelsea players Morata and Hazard.
-Benzema is leaving Real Madrid. Chelsea may look towards Benzema as they have disappointment in Giroud and Morata. Since Benzema is striker and Morata too, it maybe a straight swap plus some add-on money.
-If Benzema not coming to Chelsea, Chelsea may look towards Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski.

Chelsea consider four Antonio Conte replacements as £9.5m stand-off holds up exit
CHELSEA owner Roman Abramovich is locked in a stubborn £9.5million stand off with coach Antonio Conte.

Antonio Conte is set to leave Chelsea - but Roman Abramovich does not want to pay him off
The Russian billionaire is unhappy with the way Chelsea’s season has plunged into disarray this season, with his club now set to miss out on the top four and the chance of Champions league football next season – and with only the FA Cup left to aim for.

Previous Chelsea coaches like Andre Villas-Boas and Felipe Scolari have been axed at the point when Champions League qualification was threatened.

But with just six weeks of the season left Abramovich is reluctant to hand Italian Conte a pay off yet for the remaining year left of the deal he signed after winning the title last season, worth around £9.5m.

Sunday’s disastrous 3-1 defeat at Stamford Bridge by Tottenham means Chelsea, with just six games left of the season, are eight points off the top four.

If Abramovich was to axe Antonio Conte, he would also have to axe the nine backroom staff, including his brother Gianluca.

The Italian brought him to the club when he arrived in 2016, all of them also having a year left on their contracts – which would make it even more expensive.

Chelsea have an FA Cup semi-final against struggling Southampton in three weeks and are strong favourites to make it to the May 19 final against either Manchester United or Spurs.

Former Chelsea manager Gianluca Vialli insisted on Sunday that the unhappy Conte was “almost looking forward” to leaving the club. But those close to him have said that the Italian will not resign.

Yet unless there is a rapid change of heart from Abramovich, Conte – on around £182,000 a week – and his staff will not now be paid off until the season ends.
Under the terms of his deal, Conte is entitled to be paid for up to a year until he gets another job.

Paris Saint-Germain, who are set to sack current coach Unai Emery at the end of this season, could be a future destination.

Former Barcalona coach Luis Enrique, ex-Borussia Dortmund chief Thomas Tuchel and Napoli coach Maurizio Sarri are on the hit list to replace Conte and Juventus coach Massimo Allegri’s hint this week that he wants to work outside Italy in his next job, has also alerted Abramovich.

Conte’s leaving could herald a summer of major change at Chelsea, with top players like Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtis, neither of whom have yet signed the new deals that have been offered them, set to be targets for Real Madrid, among other clubs.

An ageing squad is likely to be overhauled by any new manager coming in.

Antonio Conte cannot wait to leave Chelsea after growing sick of club's transfer policy

Gianluca Vialli claims his compatriot will have no shortage of offers should he exit Stamford Bridge this summer

Antonio Conte is sick of Chelsea’s transfer policy and cannot wait to get out of Stamford Bridge.

The Italy FA has already contacted their former manager, with Chelsea set to dispense with his services at the end of the season and the national team needing rebuilt.

And Conte is counting the days because of how disillusioned he has become.

Former Blues boss Gianluca Vialli revealed his close pal has had enough, despite leading the Blues to the Premier League title 11 months ago.

Vialli said: “Conte can’t wait to leave Chelsea. He can’t stand that they sell or buy players without consulting him.

“The truth is, Chelsea would like a manager who is more of a club man.”

Antonio Conte has cut a dejected figure in recent months

The Italian has been unhappy with the club's investment

Max Allegri puts Arsenal and Chelsea on alert by claiming he will manage abroad when he leaves Juventus

The Azzuri are desperate for him to lead their resurgence after their failure to qualify for the World Cup. Conte has so far indicated a willingness to remain in club football but the Italians are still interested.

Vialli said: “Whether it’s the Nazionale or Paris Saint-Germain, he’ll find a place where he can start winning something important again. There will be a queue of contracts for him to sign.”

Conte has just one year remaining on the improved, £9.5million-a-year deal that he signed after winning the title last season. But Chelsea are set to miss out on Champions League football for the second time in three seasons, with Luis Enrique favourite to take over.

Sunday’s defeat to fourth-placed Spurs means the Blues are eight points adrift in fifth with seven games left to play.

Wing-back Marcos Alonso has admitted Chelsea need to win all eight of their remaining games and hope a top-four team now collapses in the hunt for the Champions League.

He said: “I don’t think we have had the same luck as last year. Other teams have improved and we don’t have the consistency. It is what it is. We have to stand up now and fight until the end.

“Winning the last seven games has to be the target and we have to wait for others to lose.”

MADRID PROPOSE EYE-CATCHING ‘THREE-PLAYER’ SWAP DEAL WITH CHELSEA

Real Madrid are ready to step up their interest in Eden Hazard and offer Chelsea a ‘three-player swap deal’, according to reports in Spain.

Florentino Perez is said to be keen on signing Hazard this summer and is trying to tempt the Premier League side into a deal that could also include Alvaro Morata.

In return, Chelsea would reportedly receive £132 million and Gareth Bale for the two players.

Reports over the weekend claimed that Madrid were interested in potentially re-signing Morata following his struggles in London this season.

Karim Benzema is likely to leave Madrid over the summer, meaning the club will be in the market for another striker.

Morata has scored just 11 times in the Premier League this season and has struggled for form since the turn of the year.

Bale himself has been heavily linked with a move back to the Premier League after a tough season in Spain.

Both Manchester United and Chelsea have been touted as possible destinations for the Welsh winger.

IS £132M + BALE A GOOD DEAL FOR HAZARD & MORATA?

Chelsea make offer for €40million Liverpool transfer target in bid to solve striker woes
Posted by Magnus Eriksen April 2, 2018

Chelsea have reportedly come in with an offer for Real Madrid striker and rumoured Liverpool transfer target Karim Benzema in a bid to solve their problems up front.

According to Don Balon, the 30-year-old has become one of Roman Abramovich’s top targets up front for the upcoming summer transfer window, and the player has received their offer.

Benzema is said to be tempted by a switch to Stamford Bridge, so says Don Balon, despite previous reports that he could be targeted by Liverpool.

A previous report from Don Balon claimed Benzema had snubbed the chance to move to a Chinese Super League club and was holding out instead to remain at a top European side.

Chelsea look in need of a player of Benzema’s calibre after disappointing campaigns from the likes of Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud up front.

The west London giants let Diego Costa move back to Atletico Madrid and that increasingly looks like a huge mistake as his replacements have not been up to scratch at all.

Benzema may not have been at his best this season but has proven himself to be one of Europe’s finest forwards for much of the last decade.

A move to England could be a decent idea to revive his career at this point, though Chelsea fans may also feel their club could do better than move for the ageing Frenchman.

Club prepared to sanction Manchester United & Chelsea transfer target’s departure in straight no-cash swap deal
Posted by Magnus Eriksen April 2, 2018

Bayern Munich are reportedly ready to allow Robert Lewandowski to leave the club for no transfer fee as long as they receive a decent enough player in exchange.

Sky Sports have recently linked the Poland international as a target for Manchester United and Chelsea as he looks for a way out of the Allianz Arena this summer.

It remains to be seen, however, if the Premier League duo can get a deal done for Lewandowski as Don Balon claim he has his heart set on a move to Real Madrid.

There’s no question the 29-year-old could be a superb signing for most top European sides right now, and all three of these names have their own needs for strengthening in attack this summer.

Real look in particular need of a new central striker to replace the off-form Karim Benzema, while Chelsea could also do with an upgrade on Alvaro Morata after his poor start at Stamford Bridge.

Robert Lewandowski can leave Bayern Munich in a swap deal
United, meanwhile, don’t exactly look in desperate need of a replacement for Romelu Lukaku, who has largely impressed recently after a bit of a dry spell.

The Red Devils do, however, need to do all they can to close a pretty sizeable gap between themselves and Manchester City next season, and Lewandowski would be a real statement signing if they could pull it off.

Don Balon claim Bayern are keen on a straight swap involving Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale, and it remains to be seen if United or Chelsea could realistically offer an exchange as tempting as that one.

Eden Hazard and Alexis Sanchez are similar styles of player who could shine for a club like Bayern, but it’s highly unlikely either would be allowed to leave this summer, even if it meant signing a player of Lewandowski’s calibre.

1- Roman need pay Conte £9.5m and possibly more for his training staffs goodbye if he sacks Conte. No Champion League, Conte will face goodbye.

2 - Conte may go back to Italy national team or PSG.

3 - Former Chelsea boss Gianluca Vialli who is said to be close with Conte, he says Conte can't wait to leave Chelsea as he grows disillusioned with Chelsea transfer policy.

4 - Real Madrid may offer £132 million and Gareth Bale for the two Chelsea players Morata and Hazard.

5 - Benzema is leaving Real Madrid. Chelsea may look towards Benzema as they have disappointment in Giroud and Morata. Since Benzema is striker and Morata too, it maybe a straight swap plus some add-on money.

6- If Benzema not coming to Chelsea, Chelsea may look towards Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski.

1- If he didnt win FA Cup, yes 90% bye bye. Unless Roman now okey with the manager n players.

2- He maybe go to PSG. Italy? dont think he plan to going back there after what happen.

3- He still wait and wait. mega_shok.gif

4- Bale coming back and play for Chelsea? he used to be Spurs... so dont think it will happen. Better play for CL somemore.

5- Benzema swap with Morata? errr. dont pls. Giroud looks good what. why wanna swap him. mad.gif mad.gif

6- 100% NOT GONNA HAPPEN. doh.gif doh.gif

Matic departure ruin our defense. Matic - Kante combo last season made our defense look good like I guess.

+ 2/3 of Current back 3 lack in experience and lack physicality in their games. Need to bulk up and instill agression in their game.

I can safely say 352 is obsolete. Conte need to change. Back to 4231 maybe. Let the attackers, attack and the defensive players defend.

hazard and kurtawa case, i think high chance they will leave (no ucl). unless our new manager can convince them not to (must be a really high profile manager then such as king carlo).

if we still playing Fabregas as a creative mid, probably need 4-3-3. Fabregas is still good at his job, but really need more protection.
