QUOTE(alip_11 @ Apr 3 2018, 11:52 AM) roman always keep quiet nowadays. Don't think that conte gonna get fired before the season end. roman no money hazard and kurtawa case, i think high chance they will leave (no ucl). unless our new manager can convince them not to (must be a really high profile manager then such as king carlo). never see roman in home game this season

Bit surprised nobody has posted this, so here we go:
Chelsea's form in 2018: 6 wins in 19 games all comps and 3 wins 2 draws and 5 defeats in the league (11 points out of a possible 30)
Take a deep breath and let that sink in for a moment. We would be languishing in FIFTEENTH place, based solely on our points in 2018. I repeat : FIFTEENTH. It's quite literally relegation form and when u just glance over these damning figures,it's clear roman has been extremely patient with an out of sorts conte who's taken potshots at the club practically every chance he got.
I've been backing the gaffer even as we slid down the table but the club gave him more than enough time to turn things around and it just makes u wonder if maybe we were a bit 'too patient' with him ? could things have turned around drastically if a capable interim was appointed?nobody knows and I'm kind of mentally prepared in the event we get knocked out by southampton and pushed further down the table by other teams.
It all started with that ridiculous strikerless formation. That was the start of our downfall if I had to pick a crucial moment that accelerated our demise.

high pressing game vs Pep is the wae. Spurs and Liverpool already show everyone how to do it. sitting back and defending u better be very very solid, which is unlikely.
but kudos to Pool also in the 2nd half, they sit deep on 3-0 and defended like crazy. Alexander Arnold really solid. Pep try to exploit him whole game, to no avail. throw in Sterling to break Robertson on the other side also didnt work. 0 shots on target from Man City.
