need a laptop with ssd and maybe a graphics chip from nvidia or amd for gaming dota 2

2. Budget : RM3K
3. Usage : Office worker, laptop will only be used for gaming and the occasional show.
4. Screen Size : Any will do.
5. Other requirements : At the moment I'm only playing an MMO called Black Desert Online. Would like the laptop to have 8GB RAM, 128 SSD and Graphic card performing at 920 thereabouts, I'm not too fussy on the exact measure since I'm not a pro or a hardcore player. As long as the load screen doesn't take more than 5 minutes and stutter/jerk every other second in combat, I'm perfectly fine.

I suggest upping the budget to RM2600 - RM2899. You can get:

-A good ultrabook-ish laptop like Acer Swift 3 15 inch.
-Any normal laptop with 8250u and MX150/130 2GB

If not, then these :

1. Acer Swift 1 = RM2299

Full HD. The Pentium is SLOW~,but not netbook slow. It's great for casual use.

You may found some difficulty in video editing, but nothing a trip to a mamak shop while waiting the video to finish can't fix. Consider getting a fast external SSD/HDD too.

2. Lenovo 320 15 inch (old model) = RM2299

A lot faster, not the best build quality though. Try to find ond with i5 7200u with Nvidia graphics for video editing.

Bad news is, entry level ips, slow hdd, Lenovo gamble longevity (it may last forever or blow up in 1 year)

I'll suggest used Thinkpads like T430 and T520. You need to up your budget if you want the best user experience, otherwise need to sacrifice things like no SSD, low RAM (4GB), poor build quality, poor battery life, poor display etc

Not sure, but the lower ones are usually bad. But they are an option and I don't have any problems using Lenovo.

Yes that Vivobook is WAY better. Do consider it if you are satisfied with the screen and the battery life. That's always been a problem with asus. They are usually subpar.

The best warranty is from Dell. But the Inspirons are a far cry from the ones I mentioned. You'll need to up your budget or find yourself a used Dell XPS 13/15.

Haggle to lower the price. 256GB SSD. Full HD gaming at medium settings (Fortnight, Dota 2).Nice, big, 15.6 inch IPS for looking at charts for long time.

- Acer Swift 5 = RM3799 core i5 8250u
Great ultrabook, lots of battery life, it's a 14 incher with a nice, touch-enabled screen. Casual gaming at 720p. 256GB SSD.

- Acer Swift 5 = RM3499 core i5 7200u
Same spec as above. Lower cpu speed, photoshop is possible, but not as good as the Core i5 8250u

- Thunderobot 911 SE with 1050 ti 4GB = RM3499 (promotion)
Just mentioning, in case you are a gamer. Full HD at high settings gaming power. Maybe it's slick enough for business?
