hi, so for forcing HDR content, either i install that smart youtube or vanced right?

I updated mine. So far can't see any difference.  However i managed to install unifi play tv from Google play directly which was not available previously.  If only i could use the tv remote just like the hypptv decoder remote. That's would nice.

your price is about right; the tv isn't so new.
i paid rm3.3k (5yr warranty) almost 2 years ago.

about HDR, if the video is HDR, u see HDR sign flashed at top left corner of tv.
it is auto detect, no setting.
youtube, i have never seen it flash... not sure if HDR works for youtube videos at all!
but, if u playback an HDR video, u see it come on.

the tv is not a superduper rm8-10k tv.
generally, it displays well, no problem... with standard or movie mode.
for 4khdr, u need to use dynamic, adjust yrself to find an acceptable set of parameters to bring out the details, brightness, color depths, etc.

So sad...2 time sharp replace also have line

1st tv is pink with half line
2nd is green with full line

I only used hdmi 8k uhd green for ps4 pro and using normal coxial cable new for my tv digital dvbt...
Is sony kd-65x7500d good than this sharp?

so far ok, ntg to complain about with this price tag + japan panel

my old ux6800x video quality still beats the latest samsung entry level (recently bought for office use), both similar price tag and VA panel

will deeply consider latest sharp model in future for own use

specs says AL1X supports HDR for Netflix, YouTube, HDMI and USB but there's not much feedback from users if
this is really true.

Was thinking of getting the AL1X for my condo in JB where I am based for work now. A local shop is quoting RM

Now suddenly I can't even cast through my mobile phone.

Luckily still can cast with my laptop.

I'm thinking it is because it is still Android 6.
