Yes, the luke cage is hdr, but the streaming speed also 15.26mbps / 2160p
*
not sure what 15.26mbps means since netflix videos are not true 4k but "modified" for live transmission.

ok, so the label of that video is HDR.

now, when playing, what info u get when u press the "display" button of the tv remote... bottom right, i think...?

what is yr internet speed, btw? for tv, using ethernet of wifi?

Did you guys try downloading x265 10-bit coded video, which is HDR. Then you can test it out. Usually the x264 8-bit counterpart is available too.

My netflix can get 2160p

Android TV or any hardware can play 4k & above speed as long as u subscribe to higher broadband speed
Sharp tech guy recommended ethernet for uninterrupted transmission
4k screen has already matured so I don't see any problem
Heck even my Sony Xperia XZP is 4k crystal clear
happyhaka, you're in luck as TM is rolling out higher & cheaper broadband speed rclxms.gif
Everything has to do with our broadband services NOW
I guess our timing to buy 6800x is really good

I'm looking for new TV (Sharp 60" or Samsung 65" NU7100).
Which one better.
Btw, the Sharp 60ua 6800x & 6500x(2x HDMI, 1x USB) different are Android & smart TV.
Currently 6500x is RM2999 with 5 yrs warranty, does it worth it?

*I'm often t use my HDD to watch movie.

Go with Android TV. The internal video player is almost useless. Limited support on format.

some interesting info...

8k udr models can do DD+.
4k hdr androidtv can do dd and... eilex prism - what is that, any use?! biggrin.gif
4k hdr smart tv can do dd only.

i would think that is for both tv audio and hdmi arc capability.
