so far ok, ntg to complain about with this price tag + japan panel

my old ux6800x video quality still beats the latest samsung entry level (recently bought for office use), both similar price tag and VA panel

will deeply consider latest sharp model in future for own use

Just high resolution from high unifi speed
6800X can do it as well
Like I said earlier, it's useless as no good HDR videos on yoitube
Only specs I'm concerned abt are lcd panel reliability & android software upgrades

no it cant in youtube,.

but HDR works fine in ps4 pro and ps5.

your 6800x must be about the same age as mine - exactly 3 years now.

i have no complaints either, been good, does what it should.

my other sharp ue630x is >5 yrs old now - this one , the picture quality is actually a bit better but is only 4k, no HDR.

I bought before AL1X came out.
After 1 year thin horizontal line came on screen, they replace complete TV.
After this ok, now using in my third room for kids.
All my posts about 6800X is here, even answer from Sharp that YouTube is not possible in HDR.
But advertisment/spec in Sharp web page say ...yes...haha..

Presently ,very happy with TCL 50C716 in my room......

Thanks, I have been reading through both discussions on the 6800X and the AL1X on this forum. The Sharp tech
specs says AL1X supports HDR for Netflix, YouTube, HDMI and USB but there's not much feedback from users if
this is really true.

Was thinking of getting the AL1X for my condo in JB where I am based for work now. A local shop is quoting RM
2500.00 nett for the 60 inch version of the AL1X.

Many times I asked AL1X owners about it, but so far no replay.
I suspect same as 6800X.
