comparing what... price, features, opsys, PQ, audio, networking, smart tv, durability, service..??

if u want a useful comparison, u need to hear from someone who has used all 3 tv's for some days or weeks..

and that's hard to find... becos 99% people look see for 10-30min only... then buy ONE, that's all!

durability... a personal experience... there are no stats for it... so many brands, so many models.

my own exp from past... i expect sharp tvs to last >7 years w/o warranty issue.

PQ - a lot will depend on your source, your player.

a mid-range price tv, i will say it is average, better than some, not as good as others.

for 6800x users....

the tv's ethernet port is not gigabit, so it's capped at 100mbps.

if u hv higher broadband speed, use wifi.

wifi module can easily get u >200mbps.

then again, what tv apps need that speed..?! biggrin.gif

How la people go around looking for best price for you.. You search for yourself first and later ask if any better deal or not.. Then someone who's seen better (if any) can say got.. Else you buy at the best price you saw and share.

When I look at the official spec , this model support mirroring but the Miracast column was left untick. Does it support Miracast then , i thought mirroring and Miracast are the same ?

Any replacement model for this tv yet? I read from previous comment that a newer model has launched and is direct led backlight. What is the different then between edge and direct backlight.

I see, can't wait for the TV tho! This is my big upgrade from a crappy lcd not even hd tv tongue.gif

I honestly almost went to sony, but it's pretty pricey like 3.5k RM for the same 4k hdr 50 inch.

Hi Guys, just purchase 1 during 11.11

My wife wanted to watch astro and i dun 1 to pull another wire into my room.... I guess this TV will solve my problem.

So... basically i just follow this to get Astro Go to works right? Any others thing i should take note so i dun break my new tv?

Updated 9 Oct 2018 android8.0
ASTROGO - Android 8.0:
after update to android 8.0 (sep 2018), astrogo installation:
if u want to install/reinstall astrogo, it is easier on this android 8.
.. get astrogo v8.2.4 (official version is fine), put in USB->tv usb.
.. must have orientation app installed, set to landscape. this one will work:
https://apkpure.com/set-orientation/com.goo....setorientation
.. (previous "rotation app" which worked on android5, 6, 7 does NOT work here.)
.. if u did not accept proposed Puffin TV app during android8 update, please install it from playstore - required as installer package for astrogo.
.. (chrome or es file explorer NOT required and not preferred, and if u use either, u have to grant permission as installer.)
.. install from playstore X-plore as file manger to install; once u click install, it takes u to PuffinTV - click on the box "astrogo login"; the rest is straightforward.
.. a mouse is required to navigate; remote will not do.
