I was affected altho mine was from Booking.com. I panicked beyond words and lucky booking got me an alternative.
Btw may I ask if  A Asia web check in can be used from Kix to kLIA ?
*
AA can web check from KIX to KLIA2
but not encourage, web check is very very long queue in KIX airport
normal check in counter is more fast

By the way this one - the price shown upon choosing flights - is before the discounted rate right? Meaning the final price/ cost is only reflected when proceed to pay with card?

use this link
price shown upon choosing flights = final price

Yes I opened through the link. Just wanted to confirm if the price shown via the link is final price, or like some banks - the discount is shown/ only appear when you hit the payment page. I tried up to that but didn't see any rebate. Thanks for the clarification.
*
yes, i also very fed up with MAS promotions
their promotion = normal price... vmad.gif

planning to land at kansai for the cherry blossom, looking at last week of march to early april. AA price is at 1.6k+ while MAS is close to 2k now..

Can any1 share (based on experience) if MAS would be having any promo/sales/year end sales? Understand that some airline do have recurring sales each year at similar periods.

Or would the promo/sales entitle to this peak period? If that's the case there is no point for me to wait for any promo to come?

RM1087, if plus add on RM133 package each way
total is 1087 + 133 + 133 = RM1353
price will increase any minute....

cherry blossom is high season, if low season Airasia can get in RM600+

PS : remember login as member to get extra discount

Thanks for the tips! Unfortunately I am looking to return in early april and that would make the fares to 1.6k+  cry.gif
Thanks for the suggestions! I have just check and it costs about 1.8k from Kul - Kix and Narita to Kul via MAS which i think is quite ok..not sure if they will be any more sales in coming months hmm.gif  hmm.gif
I have not been to Japan during cherry blossom, would you recognise period between 23 march to 3 april is a good period for that? i have looked at the forecast and it seems that 2019 sakura kicks in last week of march onwards for this region.
Also thinking if i should go from osaka up to tokyo or the other way round  hmm.gif  also looking if there is any suitable travel pass that would be worthy..from klook most passes are like 5-7 days but my travel period would be >10 days

airasia is expensive for peak season

and yes, MAS is having promotion now

RM1600, booking period until end of this month
must use the following URL to search flight
https://www.malaysiaairlines.com/MYmaybank

Guys any tactic on booking which date to catch sakura full bloom for sure in 2019? Without booking 1 month prior to sakura season ofc, as the accomodation will become a big problem.

This year the forecast is inaccurate and many tourist end up arriving too late to see sakura.

Planning to bring my parents there as sakura viewing is their dream, it would be real disappointment if we arrive too late/too early.

Plan to go from osaka-kyoto-tokyo-hokkaido - 14days++ trip.

Thanks in advance.
*
14 days enough for so many places? hmm.gif
and the air ticket is for one way? KUL to OSAKA, then SHIN-CHITOSE to KUL? or take domestic flight from SHIN-CHITOSE to OSAKA?

i think someone already answer the sakura issue
no problem if you really miss out the full bloom, regret is a good thing, means you will visit japan again & again..... rclxms.gif

commercial flight like mas, ana, jal will charge a lot for one way

Hi Everyone, Need your expertise.

If i touchdown at Kansai Airport on 9:05pm. Is there any available trains for me to go Kyoto or preferably overnight at Namba and depart to Kyoto the next day.

2 Adults and a 7 years old kid.

Thanks
*
last train around 10pm
you still need clear custom and wait luggage

depend where you stay, bus is a good choice
