i will also be traveling around tokyo at about the same time. 15th - 21st June. Weather forecast say shower and thunderstorm every other day. Nope. Cant be use for Tokyo Metro.

Why dont plan ur schedule and then only decide what pass to buy or use.  You need to see which line u use the most.
In the end if dont travel too often, a Suica will be sufficient.

JR pass = JR

Tokyo Subway 1 day  = just for subway

Combination ticket = JR + Tokyo Subway.
