most of the jap bikes are cheaper than ours from what i observed. sat on the hornet. feels small compared to the 650s on display there. even the nc750 looks better than the hornet.

The hornet really missed out on the design aspect. If they just follow the design language from the neo retro series it'll be an instant hit. Though oddly the gsx-8s is also going into the angular modern direction but I find that much nicer to look at than the hornet.

That's really Sohai if BSH think they can price the hornet at 50-60k. The 8S is coming in at 50k....I think the 8S is a much better bike for the money.

If the hornet is this price, the transalp will be another stupid price level already.

Moot point anyway. Not like BSH can even get bikes in.

I dun think the BigSoHai company really care.. They just want more $$$ from the consumers/buyers.

ADV350 is going to launch in Singapore soon. The forza sold in SG is 330cc type where the forza sold in bolehland still castrated to 250cc, require custom mod to 330cc.

Not a fair comparison.. Singapore AFAIK their basic license is up to 400cc.. In here b2 is limited to 250cc.. For those who have the Bfull would probably opt for bigger cc than 350.. So why want to bring in the models which only caters for very very small minority?

Erm, in SG class 2B is below 200cc motorcycle driving license.
Class 2A is 201 - 400 cc motorcycle driving license.
Very similar to bolehland B2 B1 motorcycle driving license. But B1 already eliminated, all B1 holders license automatically convert to B full.

Tbh there may be some takers of forza350 for those with b full but dont want to get xadv 750 or tmax560 due to prohibitive pricing. If the pricing is estimated at 30k lah. Same with why people get j300, c400 or burgman 400. Maybe for second bike or just don't want to deal with clutches.

Yeah sorry... But it still makes sense on the sub-400cc.. 2A going for below 200cc.. For 2B, I believe there are more into sub 400cc rather than 250cc.. For consumer, of course more choices better.. But for Distributor, they will try to focus more on profit making classes . Just my own opinion anyway.. Cheers..

Yes there is, but as I said, it's just for minority which doesn't make much money for the company profit.. I mean for BSH la.. So it's still wiser to focus on the much bigger consumers class, which is the 250cc.. I mean, try look at how many percentage of the 300-400cc bike on our road.. It's almost impossible to see one not to mention daily, even weekly..

I could use a mid size scooter too.. forza 350 is 20cm longer than the adv160. Slightly taller seat height, same width.

My part of the town where people still do commute to city with 30-50km one way daily, there's still a bit more >250cc bikes on the road. But i understand where you're coming from. Applying for AP and the difficulties that comes with it even though for a CBU bike with less purchase rate makes it little incentives for BSH. Unless they change their business model which ain't happening any time soon.

Anyways that CB1000R Black Edition sure do look sweet. Detuned engine but looks awesome nonetheless. But pricing is not as enticing.
