Hey guys, quick question about the X.

I have the following issues with the lockscreen, checking if other users also have the same problem:

1) Notifications not unlocking
This problem bothers me the most. A normal use case would be where you raise the phone, screen turns on, detects your face (provided your face is in the optimal range) and the phone is unlocked, along with all your notifications.

I raise the phone, screen turns on but notifications wont unlock. Lock icon stays as it is. Maintaining my hand/face position, I press the side button to turn off/on the screen again, immediately the phone unlocks, with full notifications for me to see. I really dont know what is going on. Am i using the phone wrong or something?

2) The lock icon stays in the 'locked' position, but a swipe up brings me straight to the homescreen
Normally if the X is locked, a swipe up will trigger FaceID (lock icon will spin) and will bring you to the homescreen if successful. But in my case, it brought me straight to the homescreen without any updates to the icon. I wouldnt know if the FaceID authenticated me or not.

Anyone else seem to have these issues?

Mine is perfectly normal when awake the phone and look at the faceID to get the 'unlock' LOCK logo. In settings-Face ID & Passcode - ALLOW ACCESS WHEN LOCKED is all the options starting from Today View checked?

same. with 11.2.1 also. Always have to clear apps. but so far no other issues.

seems like a lot of people getting the notification on lock screen issue.. mine works perfectly fine... although sometimes put me to passcode but 8/10 times when I put my face on it, the notifications turn to message content almost instantly..
