Hello guys, about the rattling noise... this is my experience... not sure it is just me or you have the same problem? pls share.

1. 4 doors rattling - due to inside door wiring problem knocking against the metal, and some plastic noise come from nowhere.
2. front rattling - outside, beside windscreen plastic (near the wiper), you can hear the rattling noise when driving, plastic knocking against the windscreen
3. rear rattling - somewhere roof, suspect spoiler knocking against back windshield
4. dashboard/head unit rattling - just rattling happen randomly
5. rattling just right side of driver's steering (somewhere ASA, Auto Idle button) - this is worst, very sharp noise, like spring sharp noise when running on uneven road.

Got my adv today. damn i check everything was fine later when I arrived home i realised that the right back door cannot be opened from the inside. the handle is simply not clicking the unlock process.

SA said go to SC. should i go now or i wait for some more time until the 1k service and only fix it then, maybe other issues arise?!

My Myvi having few issues right now, any reliable and cheap workshop that can recommend me?

1) Bonnet holder spoil
2) Engine Mounting

Also, any idea where to get those chemical/paste that can remove the stain, scar on the car body?

have anyone encounter engine have the ticking rattling sound? 1.5 advance....very loud squeaking like some besi knocking each other sound "tik tik tik tik tik tik tik tik tik" pulse coming from engine there below that black color plastic cover, from inside cabin can hear very loud, if open engine hood the sound can hear more loud directly....mileage only about 300km, 1 week old only. going to service centre to check this issue.

Hi guys, H model 2018 here...mileage over 2300km ++

Before 1st 1000km inspection, i realise that the brake pedal got sound every time i released it after step on it to stop. The sound like the pedal bouncing back sound "k-tok"..
So i went to SC to check...after checked, they say is normal for all new myvi car..is that true? And then after when i driving the car, i can feel they have tighten the brake pedal and the sound "k-tok" is lesser. I'm ok with that as long they try do something on it.

All this after 1 month ++...another strange sound appear from the brake pedal...it sound like very light "mouse click" sound when i foot touch but not even step hard on it to break. I check under the brake pedal and found out there was a blue plastic device were attached to the brake pedal pillar...i suspect the sound is from this blue plastic device...

Here are my question:

1. Brake pedal released sound is normal for all cars?
    (i had drove kelisa & alza before but don't have this kind of sound)

2. Anyone have "mouse click" sound from the brake pedal when light step on it?
    The 1st week i drove the car and i don't hear any sound...is it normal?

once turn on engine the sound ticking very loud already "chik chik chik chik chik chik chik", it's not the normal car engine roaring operating sound. yeah driving also have the noise, nothing to do with throttle, tekan minyak or no tekan also same sound. engine turning sound. not sure izzit something to do with loosen parts or belts stuff. anyway friday appoinment SC already noon go check. 350km mileage only now. park or no park, move or no move the sound is nonstop "chiking" . and yesterday 5th day start behind seat compartment start to have rattling sound when the road surface if not smooth time, checked the plate number not from there, checked the gear up add on accessories also not from there, somewhere bottom the back seat

1. Its strange that my previous kelisa and current alza don't have this kind of bouncing back sound.
2. I suspect is the brake light switch making faint clicking noise...

Can anyone confirm the following bulb sockets?

1. Number plate bulb
2. Roof light (driver centre)
3. Roof light (driver- side)
4. Roof light (passenger/middle)
5. Reverse bulb
6. Turn signal
7. Front fog lamp( spot lamp)

are you sure 6. Turn signal - BA15 21w? or is it BAU15S (PY21W)?

How about the roof lights? are they T10 too?

Can somebody explain what is the logic behind this.

As far as I know oil will pump only once it is cranked. That is when we start the engine.

If we push start 2 times without depressing brake, it goes to acc mode. Just like key starting.

Correct me if I am wrong

Anyone having problems of outside smell slowly seeping in? Even with the air circulation put to only inside most of the times smell from outside comes inside the car, any solution?

Is the new Myvi really that bad or u guys just got the lemon unit? I'm worried now

you cannot turn off the engine when the car in in Eco Idle.  because the moment you shift from N to R, it will start back the engine.  and you must shift the gear to P before you can turn off the engine (as in switch off the car completely).  therefore, it cannot be done.

the way i tackle about coming into parking, is you shift the gear to N before the car come to a complete stop, ie before the Eco Idle stars.  Eco Idle will not engage in N. 
So you shift to the N, let car slide into the parking and then brake, then shift to P, then hit the push start/stop button.  that way you won't get the engine eco stop, then start again, then switch off again scenario.

How many watt is the t10 bulb?

New myvi should come with drl... Just too bad need to diy.

30w is too much. I think 5W should be enough for drl.

After 2 weeks of driving on my 1.5 Av, I can here very tiny rattling sound comes from inside of dashboard. Only notice when car moving or shaking. Anyone got this problem?

My SA told me it's due to special requirement for eco idle engine, thus need special type of battery, and cannot use maintenance-free battery.

Don't know true or not.
