Hey Guys, just received my 1.5 ADV. Booked early Feb biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif

So far so good. Everything is working fine. But i do hear a kluk kluk sound coming from the left door side. But im not sure which parts exactly. Need send to SC

Also when it rains i noticed that windscreen easy to be foggy. You guys faced this too?

Also when collect the par i noticed that the back side the rubber seems to be jutting out. Looks more like a quality control issue. You guys got noticed this as well?
*
Kluk kluk sound maybe just the seat belt clip?

Windscreen easy to fog? Yes, had this issue initially but gone after a few car wash.

The photos - which part is that exactly?

Honestly speaking i didn't check my tire pressure since last month's car delivery.
Just now when I check the tire pressure at Shell petrol station, the display indicated all my wheels are 46psi (recommended pressure for both front and rear are 31psi)

I was surprised, not sure is the machine problem or my stock tires are over-inflated for the entire month after car delivery...
*
My stock tyres were also overinflated at 37psi (cold). Your tyres are probably hot when you measure them.

Hey guys, i am wondering if any of you facing problem as below youtube link shown?
I found this during car wash. And somehow it's doesn't affect riding or produce any noise during driving.
What is your thought for this?  hmm.gif  hmm.gif

*
Yep, same problem here and it's only on the left side!

Anyone tried to tap wire from fuse box? Apparently none of of the fuse terminals are ACC, so I had to tap from the ignition row.

I dont thinks so.
There are some on acc. Did you use multimeter to check?

I am also waiting to hardwire my dash cam. Wiiting to receive my fuse adapter. Ordered from aliexpress. Still waiting.

From facebook group, I found somebody did it
He said that one is for parking mode other one acc. Not sure which one
*
Yep, I used a multimeter. Somehow the fuse box in the engine compartment doesn't have acc. I need to tap for the DRLs.

I'm sure the other fuse box under the glove box has more options. Good luck in hardwiring your dashcam.

Can you share some pics of setup
Where did you get fuse adapter? How much?
*
I got it from lelong https://www.lelong.com.my/micro-mini-media-...7-01-Sale-I.htm
But this seller did not include any fuse.

I put a 7.5A fuse for my drls so should be fine. I think they draw at most about 4A.

Pictures showed some of the cable connectors I used. All these connections are waterproof. There's another photo showed the location where i tap the negative/ground connection.

QUOTE(ginodave @ Apr 29 2018, 10:32 AM)
My friend outing 7.5A fuse on a 5A circuit will not serve the purpose.

We don't know how much amp is drawn by the existing equipment. If the drl draws 4A better to have a 5A fuse IMO. If it is a 5A original fuse, most probably the wire can handle max 10A (guess). So with current set up if the total load exceeds 10A, the original harness can burn.
Always be on safer side
*
Ya, I agree with you. The car accessory shop that I went did not have 5A fuse. Also, other fuse slots have difficulty pushing in the fuse tap.

Guys quick questions

1. What bulbs do our 1.5 foglamps use? Planning on changing it to a different colour laugh.gif

2. I remember someone mentioning they opened the chrome lining to DIY before, how do we do that for the passenger side aircond vent (chrome lining) since Perodua failed to solve the rattling for me, I'll just insert a thin slice of sponge hoping it'll solve.
*
1. H11

2. I inserted small thin piece of silicone tape. It solved the rattles. However, not sure how long it will last.

Thanks bro, did you just slide the silicone tape in? or open up the chrome lining?
*
I slid it in. Afraid will break the chrome if removed.

I would not go beyond 2000rpm for the first 1000 km.
keep the load varying (drive in city).
*
Not going beyond 2000rpm is hard, especially coming out of a busy junction. Generally not more than 4000rpm should be fine, as stated in manual.

I am looking for 5A

Not really. I was able to keep below 2k.  Yeah at some rare situation it hiked upto 2500. Even after 1000 km inspection, something is blocking me to go above 3000rpm. May be FC.

Thanks for the info on fuse. How much they charged for fuse? Do we need to buy in bulk quantity?
Are there any spare fuses in the fuse box?
*
RM2 per fuse (I know, they overcharged). But there's some spare fuses in the interior fuse box that you might want to check out first.

Can someone explain the meaning of "speed-sensing wiper"  in Myvi?
I understand it needs to be in intermittent setting for speed sensing to work.
*
In intermittent setting, the wiper will speed up when you drive faster.

Thank you.  Do you find speed - sensing more useful or the usual variable-speed adjustable more practical?
*
I feel variable-speed adjustable more practical.

QUOTE(tennytyy @ May 27 2018, 09:08 PM)
how to activate this?
*
It's automatically activated in intermittent mode.

Some features I notice

- When you start the car, there will be a slight delay (couple seconds) before the DRL lights up.
- It will only LIGHT UP when the engine is turned on not during the ON/RUN phase. (the function before you totally start the car engine)
- When you are engaged on ECO IDLE, it will remain running like NORMAL.
- When you turn OFF the car, it will remain on (20 seconds or so like follow me home function) or until you lock the door.
- Increased road presence  brows.gif  devil.gif

*
Wow, super nice. My previous DRL relay that I installed was not as "clever " as yours. It will turn off during eco idle sad.gif
