Anyone face problem of connecting your Android phone using SmartLink?
Done all the instructions from booklet (e.g developer option, USB debugging, Bluetooth on & use ori cable)
Still stuck at the first bar (Connecting your phone) and end up failed to link. And this process keep repeating.

Model: Redmi 4A (confirm enough storage)
Android ver: 6.0.1
*
Mine also not consistent. Sometimes can, sometimes failed. Quite useless feature for me.
(Android 7.0, Huawei Nova)

just informed by the SC that Perodua has come with the solutions for the vibrating headlamps & rear suspension spring noise issue.
Currently they are in the process of ordering parts from HQ, once arrived will contact me to get my car fixed.
*
Nice to know. My rear suspension definitely got that kruk (actually it sounded more like kreek) noise issue. But so far I have yet notice any vibration from headlamps.

My old Honda City iDSI CVT averaging 13.1km/L but on RON95.

Next tank will try RON95.

anyone feel the rear there very loud whenever driving on watery road?

it is as if nothing to dampen the sound sweat.gif

When traffic ambient /wind noise is reduced, road noise will perceived to be louder.

QUOTE(helo123 @ Feb 23 2018, 04:30 PM)
I just got my new myvi just now. Within first few km of my ride, I did a sudden brake to avoid a car. During that brake, i saw some light indicators in the dashboard switched on during that emergency brake. The light went off after the brake. After that i realized that it is advised not to do any sudden stop within the first 300km(break in period). So does it mean that the life span or fuel efficiency of my car is now greatly reduced?
Quite worried about this as the myvi manual stated not to do the emergency brake within 300km, which sounds like it is very vulnerable at the first few km ride.
Any sifu knows what will happen to my car? Thank you
*
Probably the hazard lights went on. In the manual it did mention about hazard lights will automatically turned on during emergency braking.

must be because you set your aircond to max.  So when the cabin's temperature is not cold enough yet, it won't activate the idle stop.  Because the priority is to make the car cool first.
After 5-15mins, the interior is cool enough, then the CPU allows for Idle stop.
*
But mainly because the engine needs to warm up first before eco idle is possible. This is to protect the engine & achieve better fuel efficiency.

hey guys, using one month old myvi, does anyone pump their tyres already? i've pump, but the pressure is still intact, not too sure, is these tyres are using nitrogens? as i've mixed it up, with normal air, kinda worried that the nitrogen will disappears,
*
Unlikely they're nitrogen. Stock pressures measured when I first got the car was 240kpa on all four. This is higher than the specified/recommended 220kpa. So maybe yours actually drop from 240 so you find them still intact.

Been driving for a few days now, noticed passenger seat side aircond vent (left right direction blades) rattles against somewhere, anyone else facing the same?

Also think my alignment is off, always gotta angle my steering wheel a little right (maybe 5 degrees clockwise) on straight roads. No visible pulling though, alignment issue?
*
Hmm.... Mine don't have such issue. But my center fittings do rattles.

Got a ticking sound from the engine bay area which I assume it's the engine as well.

Anyone also notice light jerks when gear shift like it's not smooth transition? Not an issue for me just wanted to know if people have that same experience as I do.
*
Nope, no ticking sound from engine, no jerk during gear shift. Probably my butt not sensitive enough tongue.gif

how frequent should i do polish and wax?
*
No need to polish new car paint. Polishing is abrasive and it removes very thin layer of clear coat. If you wash your own car, you will know when it's time to wax again. It's usually when you see it doesn't repel water well and surface not smooth. Can also consider using clay bars when the surface is not smooth.

bro, i want to ask.. I just did wax to my car

if use car shampoo to wash car, will it remove the wax?

how to wash a waxed car ah?
*
Just make sure your car shampoo is pH neutral. Most got mentioned on the bottle or some just says it won't strip wax.

The quoted tank capacity from manufacturer usually does not include the reserve tank capacity. I read somewhere before the reserve tank usually varies around 3-5 litres. But for you to actually fill up more than 36L at petrol station would actually mean that you're emptying your tank. I don't think a lot of people dare to do that.

For the key cover, I found leather one but the price is around RM60 per piece. Still thinking whether I should but it or not.
*
The new Myvi has only 36L plastic fuel tank and there's no extra reserve. When the low fuel light is on, there's still 5.6L left (stated in manual). However, I tried drive until the low fuel light is on but could only pump 29 litres of fuel.
Anyway, it's not recommended to drive with low fuel as this could damage the catalytic converter.

Be careful when washing your new car. Mine got fine scratches after washing. Already washed with 2 bucket method still ended up like this. I had to use compound to remove those scratches.

I use car wash mitt like this:

Probably because I pressed too hard, or maybe I need a water pressure washer.
