hi may i know where you get those rubbers?
*
Many online shops got like https://www.lelong.com.my/car-door-edge-pro...7-01-Sale-I.htm

I got mine from taobao.

hi guys, currently driving a Suzuki Swift Sport (A) 4 years old, one more year warranty left and fully paid up.

thinking of changing to this new myvi 1.5 top spec, i know i am going to lose out on the performance part, but i think i'm ok with that.  wanted to ask forumers some questions:

1) can a wheelchair be placed inside the myvi boot?

2) how are the trade in values given by perodua? good, average or better sell my car outside
*
Wheelchair is going to be tight fit or can't fit at all. I suggest you bring one to perodua to try out.

Trade in value in Perodua can be much lower than outside. However, I still traded in mine to Perodua for convenience sake.

Then how to unbuckle it?
It seems like the concept is same as Axia and previous gem myvi.
*
Oh sorry, I read the post wrongly. Ya, you're right, that's how to unbuckle.

Just saw this from user manual
But I’ve travel from state to state with speed over 110km/h, and also drive quite long too.
What if I really break the rules of break-in period?
Any solution to correct it?
*

Generally I follow what this guy says. I make sure engine properly warmed up before driving, turn off eco idle, don't accelerate more than 4000rpm and varry the rpm.
What the manual said probably is only for your own safety, as new car may have mechanical issue like a loose nut out of factory.

how is the soundproof quality after the installation of the rubbers compared to before ?
*
That's not for sound proofing. It just protect the door edges.

Hi. 1.5h myvi granite Grey user here. Signed loan agreement on 24 January 2018. And receive the car on 30 January 2018. It is 2018 made. Is it fast or normal? Just want to ask is it normal for the retractable side mirror to fold unevenly?
*
Normal. It depends on when you booked the car.

For the side mirrors, mine also fold milliseconds different in speed.

i feel that 1.3 engine is much quieter than the one in 1.5. Noticeable different especially in the 2000~ 4000 rpm zone , the 1.5 got this distinct unrefined sound where the 1.3 is just rev smoothly
*
Ya, my 1.5 at certain rpm, around 3000+, I can feel a sudden rush of power. It's like VTEC kicking in.

Noticed some black color marks on my car front bumper, both sides on 2nd day after collection. It's smooth to touch, seems like it's not scratch marks.  Maybe paint job not done properly?

Anyone have this issue?

*
Mine silver and don't have this issue. But has clear coat scratches on the front right bumper the first day I got the car.

Recent collection is Scratch X, still finding out the proper way of using, as it don't really removed the scratches.
*
wub.gif Nice collection.
For the scratches, if they're too deep you may need to use sand paper.
How's the Meguiars Glass Cleaner? Does it has water repellent effect?

Anyone still having problem with annoying dashboard rattling noise like mine? My service center refuses to fix it for me during 1000km inspection and said it's normal. So it's time for me to diy. I identified the noise is coming from the chrome bar around the lower center aircond vent as shown in pic below. Occasionally there's noise coming from the upper silver trim at certain road condition. What I did was pushing some silicone tapes at gaps as shown in pic with the help of plastic guitar pick and plastic tweezers.
No more rattling noise after that! rclxm9.gif

New 1.5 AV owner here..... got a question puzzling me for some time. The boot can be opened by anyone touching the boot handle, wouldn't it be dangerous if theif opens your boot during traffic stop
*
You try ask someone to open and see can or not. Even the key at the back passenger seat also cannot icon_rolleyes.gif

Hi all when driving there was this soft beep that would go on occasionally. I realised it would only come out when the CFC hits 99.9km/l . What does this mean ? And the CFC constantly fluctuates up and down from 12 to 99
*
I don't have such problem. Is it the rear seat belt reminder?
CFC is current fuel consumption and I find it useful for me to drive economically.

Anyone know how to on the washer fluid for the back?

Just push the wiper switch handle, just like turning on the high beam.

Sorry one more question , you know how the engine would auto-off when you stop at a traffic light? I notice how sometimes a slight change of pressure on the pedal would trigger the engine to switch on. But Sometimes it would auto-on the engine when my feet did not move. Then no matter how long I step on the brake again, the engine won’t auto off. Quite annoying . Does anyone how to overcome this problem ? sad.gif
*
It's not a problem. The aircon compressor is operated by engine, not battery like many hybrid cars. So when the cabin temperature rises, the engine will auto kick start again to run the compressor. After that, the engine won't turn off again until you move a distance. This is to ensure the battery won't run flat especially during traffic jams.

If you want to manually restart the engine during eco idle, you can release the brake slightly or briefly step harder on the brake paddle.
