Depends on the lie you created.

For example, I told them I didn't find job for a few months because a family member is sick (which is true) so they are like okay. I don't know if they will look down or not la.

Maybe can say work at part time at a place, that is harder for them to check, or even bother to check.

Already found a new job not long after I opened the thread but need to be based in another state.
Then, found another job again with good increment but mana tau kena tipu dgn employer.
Now, back to square one, looking for a new job again.
