That’s very subjective, haha. I personally prefer the simplicity and reliability of iOS, and I’m not a big fan of EMUI so I’d pick the 8 Plus, but the P20 Pro is an interesting prospect which I plan to try

I do agree with the post above though, the processing from the sample P20 Pro photos I’ve seen so far are a little aggressive and less natural, but it could also be a matter of taste and preference. Some people prefer the vibrant colours.

Actually I don’t get the over-emphasis on cameras in today’s new phones. It’s like every other manufacturer is trying to one up the other in the camera department where else there are so many other features and functions that can be improved.

Anyways most modern phones have very good cameras already, maybe just the low light shots are not on par compared to flagships. That said, most entry level and midrange phones are also improving the cameras these days

How do you find the red of the 8 Plus? Upon looking at it closer in real life I think it’s a little dull compared to the red on the aluminium 7 Plus previously.

iPhone 8 Plus running iOS 11.3.1 - battery drain activity

For me personally not much difference between 11.3 vs 11.3.1

There are some complaints on battery drain still on 11.3.1 - but mostly for older iPhones 7. Anyways, I wasn't planning to update my 8 Plus from 11.3 to 11.3.1, more like accidentally updated, ha ha. But glad there's no adverse effect on battery or performance.

64GB is sufficient. Have a colleague with a 4-year-old 64GB 6 Plus with over 1300 photos and still 15GB available.

I think most people will wait for the next iPhone already

Plus now that the opposition has won, I started a poll on Apple's prices.. on one side, our MYR will drop in the short term (offshore trading at RM4.07 today)and on the other, they did promise to abolish GST

Same here. The RM will weaken in the short term though, and that will probably factor in sooner than GST removal.
