Ya, it's a pity the only Androids with big batteries are midrange ones (Lenovo P2, Mi Max 2)... Can't exactly play heavy games on those! I wouldn't exactly call myself an iFag but more often than not I prefer the boring reliability of iOS.

Same, I'm now trying the S9+, although I have some regret coz it's totally no different from the S8+ which I also tried. Oh well, next iPhone isn't till September so need to keep myself entertained

And that now has become my benchmark for battery performance in any phone. If I need to charge it midway through the day, then it's a fail.

Unfortunately it's painful, especially WhatsApp. You can buy a third party app for that but I'm stingy, ha ha. I like how everything is transferred from iPhone to iPhone via iTunes, including all apps, the layout and even the folders. Unfortunately no such solution for Android... yet.

1. True. Although the phone is water-resistant, damage caused by water cannot be claimed for warranty - all phone manufacturers have this clause - go figure!

2. I went from an 8 Plus to X and back to an 8 Plus. Highly recommend you do not go back to the 8 Plus, you would definitely miss the experience with the X. Wait for the next gen instead.

Actually, it also depends a bit on luck. Some fella say go swimming with the phone or wash the phone everyday also no problem, some fella say spill some water on it phone already KO... Don't think so it has to do with the back glass
