I also agree with not picking up difficult riders for DR considerations.
Some people are just impossible to please no matter what you do, better to put your energy on next rider.

In the case of same rider, i think cancellation should come from rider. Because:
Accepted in error?No.
Can't reach in time?No.
Passenger no show?No.
Passenger requested to cancel?No.

So, do nothing and hope that Grab wont suspend your account for taking same rider more than twice in a week?
Letting customer out of the vehicle for funny rules isnt something that i would agree with. But if system/rule doesnt change, how can you protect yourself as a driver?

That is likely to happen if driver did not explain properly, or if the rider memang behsong you and want you suspended no matter what.
This case actually reminds me of female celebrities being sexually harassed. Some were raped and decided to be quiet due to people saying "if you do something about it, things would get worse".
People are scared of what they will lose, how much and how it will impact their lives. But sometimes, your loss due to an action initiated from your end will benefit others who are in the same position as you. And sometimes, by fighting for what is right, at least you would feel that you have done something no matter what the result is.
While we are embroiled in this discussion with the negativity consuming us, ask yourself a couple of questions:
1. What is the root cause of drivers and riders being frustrated by same rider rule? Is it due to drivers, riders, or rule that is already set in place?
2. What would be the ideal solution that would benefit all parties?
3. If system automatically avoid similar riders, would this clear most of the issues or doubts that we are having?
4. If there is no solution, what sort of workaround can exist?

Issues like this ought to be solved. Things should be made better and not worse. And since this affects both driver and rider, I believe uniting both parties to agree on something would increase the chances of Grab considering to implement new feature(s).

And reason for it was that driver picked up rider more than twice a week.
Hence the discussion so far.

Now that's constructive. Great idea, voice recording can be a powerful proof.
Hope this can get Grab to program their app to automatically prevent same riders.

There was once when I took a chinese couple at KL. I went one wrong turn and went straight to highway. Paid 2 unnecessary tolls. But the rider told me that waze sometimes cannot trust one. He lead the way and in the end still gave me some tips. I couldnt brain this, so nice

I made this mistake and called the rider too. Then the rider seized the opportunity and took his own sweet time buying things at convenient store when i went to pick him up.

Im on HG too, Friday is seriously the best day to earn.
It would be kinda tough for me if im on flexi and aiming for weekend cashback. Sat n sunday cant rest or hangout to complete the 20 jobs, can't just take ikan bilis job, and airport job also scared to take. The plan doesnt seem flexible to me, and i feel that HG suits me much better, gives me much more freedom and less stress.

Amount include incentives? Work same area/day of week? Comparison based on weekly/monthly stats instead if daily? I think shouldnt be the case as I think Grab already jacked up the price, and no more holiday/long weekend. If fares are really lesser, could be bcos of luck, more and more grab drivers, My Destination feature, riders saving up for cny clothes and angpow, riders jump ship to Uber n Mula.
Can't do much besides waiting for Chinese New Year, pray pray to switch luck.

So far anyone encountered any My Feature bugs?
The worst bug that i have encountered a month ago was being stuck at "Contacting Server" when I tried to press Pickup (grabshare customer).
Only happened once so far but cost me a half day trip to GDC.
Reinstall, relogin, reboot, clear cache, change network type couldnt solve the issue. In the end, Grab technical team had no choice but to "force complete" the job. And yes I did send the rider to destination anyway.

Sometimes less fares would mean you get more incentives. But when kena jerung fare during MP/UP block really syiok the feeling. Dont cancel plsss

Biasa la. Already escalated to relevant department but nothing happen.
