that why i will say if we earn less than rm20 per hour , i will not drive , and for current inflation , i think we might need to increase that amount .

a min. wages now a person average can get rm10 , and medium income can get rm20 , higher income can get more.

but all of them no need to risk their car .( personal cost )

the benefit of this work was flexible , which in my opinion was not really true because you will need to " work " to get income . afterall still need to input about the same hour of normal working to get normal salary paid .

yes , this was a income boost for low/just enough salary people ( 1k - 3k ) like me .

let say 10hour per day = 20x10x5 + 30x10x2 = 1600 x 4 = 6400 exclude maintenance.

wow , 6400 , can you work everyday for 10hour++? ( yes for certain people because there was )

and you need to run the risk of 1 day suddenly you engine/gearbox break down , and there goes your car , once it break down , normally it wont in good conditon.

maybe if you use diesel car the engine can last better. i know people say i think too much , but i am that kind of person haha

How long you have been driving grab/uber? because i dont think maintenance of rm80 per month was right .

klang area dont have boost haha , and i dont like to travel long trip . it cost me tired and thus cant drive long hour.

so only KL i think can achieve , i am from klang , and yes sunday will be mostly no jam at KL , and you were flexi , i am hg , without the weekend cash return still can manage to get more than rm20 .

and your service must be outside .

but 400 - 500km per day was  ( everyday i mean )

if 20day per month = 10,000km , can go service around 1 month each , expecting each year your car milleage increase 100,000km .

after 2-3 years  , problem should started arise , and 5years some major part should need to be replaced.

a normal lifetime car ( 10years ) millage was around 200-300k km . and in between there were some wear and tear already.

i have seen a kelisa with more than 500k km , city+highway , running good , but certain part cant be fix , after replaced awhile the problem came again . ( the cost of repairing was too much )

other than that , all were mostly more than 200k km still running but not on good condition. and shall any major repairing needed can consider to sell .

Hmm.. This is the problem Grab not transparent in showing us how much is the Surge.. With Uber I know the Surge, I know the pick up distance is accurate, and I can filter until the pick up distance is short.

Is it normal for Grab to give far pick up distance now? I guess I'll find out when I drive again.

It gets even worse when I click further into the app and click the auto detect button (the one that looks like a target). See where the app drop the pin? Siao siao. Of course, I can drag the pin to my exact location, but.. How many passengers know how to do that?

So, for drivers who never used the Grab rider app before, this is the rider's perspective. If you are frustrated because rider's pinned location is completely wrong, this is what riders have to deal with - a really hopeless app.

some tech are just too canggih for some riders... whenever I see some riders with certain nationalities and the location is not familiar.. I always call up. want to try some fun? go Chow kit area and get a ping that just says Chow kit monorail. have fun finding the rider 😁

One of the ways Grab can help reduce traffic congestion. Reduce Grabshare to one rider per booking, but upto 4 Grabshare pickups. Add cancellation fees to Grabshare bookings.

Simple. Just switch to flexi. Dont let crap hold your balls and get blinded by incentive. Btw u sleep better the night before incentive pay day.

If they can implement auto-cancel after 15 minutes that doesn't affect our CR like what hickups suggested (he suggested 7 minutes), that is better than the current situation.

But moosekaka complained that driver's time not compensated...

Well, current situation is, driver not only not compensated, kena punish some more.....
