Anyway, yesterday I ordered a Grabcar from BST Main Entrance heading to MRT Bukit Bintang. Walking to the MRT station would actually be fun, except it isn't when it's 8pm, slightly drizzling and you're tagging along two kids with you.

I sent him a message saying I'm waiting at the main entrance, to which he replied OK. He was ferrying a rider and I don't mind waiting because I understand the condition of the traffic at that time.

After 6-7 minutes of waiting, the driver sent a message saying he has arrived. I waited and waited he was nowhere to be seen. I waited for nearly 5 minutes before I decided to call him. I told him I'm at the main entrance, near Starbucks. He told me he was waiting outside, under the Imbi monorail station. This ticked me off big time. To be fair, he did try to call me but couldn't get through but sending a text was very much possible at that time because that is what I did.

Upon entering his car, that driver told me it was very difficult to go to the near main entrance. What bullshit, the traffic at the main entrance was very smooth because riders jumped in and out of their rides very quickly, like an F1 pit stop. Not only that, the driver also missed the correct junction and what should be a 1.3km ride turned into a 2.4km one. An extra kilometer is not a big deal on any other day for me but it's a different story when it set you back by nearly 15 minutes more.

I was very close to rate this drive 1*, very very close but alas I didn't rate him at all. I don't know why. Maybe because I'm a Grab driver myself, I don't know.

yes, for now, i just read it backwards, later will try to read from the starts. True, heard that before from a fellow fallen crab driver getting all aspects into considerations. but desperate times do need desperate measurements. calculating every possibilities (fares, oil, maintenance, tyres, fees etc)
