Accept ALL pings unless throw you to ulu place... NOT filter ping until find RM5 job.
(If you in kv then ulu i guess is nilai, rawang etc)

Btw.. if fares can get you near rm40 an hour is ok. No need hadap incentive. Not big difference your income comes from Grab incent or fare... how high is the first criteria... then when more experience you finetune to reduce cost.

Aiyo friend... lu suka la... you want count cost of your makan cuz cannot tapao your mummy favorite curry mee to work/drive, you count lo. Want count cost of buying air freshener cuz of wangi rider you count lo. Want count cost to wash car cuz you worry affect rating you count lo. Heck you can count cost of sunscreen lotion or panadol cuz cannot tahan rider ask you silly question. Face mask? Many riders sneeze/cough you know. Pepper spray? Mapren very dangerous oh. Cockroach bait? Many riders bring lapsap into your car kay. Lawyer fees leh, many rider suka-suka sue you for asking silly questions wan woh.

Nobody made you an offer you cant refuse to drive grab mah. If you feel not worth it cuz you have other options can earn >RM20 an hour....
then . . . good for you loh..! you can pity us here so silly be kuli.

On a serious note.. some ppl here twice as qualified and 10x as experienced then you and some driven few years faced few thousand riders dy. And there are about 50k drivers in kv, what you're wondering or unsure about sure got answer dy.
Instead of looking silly by jumping into conclusion or assumptions, why not seek out their free opinion. You'll just look terribly bad and rub ppl the wrong way... later kena warning letter again..

Ppl help point out to you, salt, pepper, soy sauce, wet tissue, dry tissue, hand soap, dish soap, tooth pick etc etc is cost of doing a restaurant business.

But food for driving Grab....? Well most probably you have been working in f&b and food has always been subsidised.. that would explain why you consider it a cost. Otherwise as explained, no you dont. If not as listed, the 'cost' can be endless.

Those that has the experiences here help guides the newbies, thus avoiding costly and time consuming mistakes. Ive benefited thus came out from being a silent reader. Also as in your case you'd like to know how much you can earn in general driving grab without actually having done it. And answeres have been shared. There is enough critical mass of experienced drivers here to check each other from giving ajaran sesat. So use this info to your advantage to make a fast and correct decision.

By being juvenile would only do you a disfavour as people are less inclined to be helpful. Look where your attitude has gotten you now? Having a different opinion is fine. When pointed out you have a wrong opinion, take it with grace to elicit further assistance. Your posting above would just dig you a bigger hole to sink into.

Take it easy. This group is pretty fine. Its very apparent most here are real decent compared to those in other topics who would have asked you to get your kite out... (bar one or two though they seem less active here now 😄)

Actually one angmoh oredi defend rider for cancelation. Say ublur crap for charging when driver hantuing around... Grab better cuz foc cancel. Lol... i understand him completely....

But still ublur riders are better behaved and thata the bottom line

Btw in incentive tab you cn see how many hours 'online' for incentive.

You can set to waze and when need to use Gmap, tap on the 1 or 2 pin icon in Grab screen. An arrow with Gmap icon will appear on bottom left...

Kudos.. Great mature replies. Many narrow minded ppl quick to judge others stupid cuz they know how to use gps apps daily. But there are even ppl struggling to use whatsapp. Heck... use smartphone also struggling. But these same ppl that judge too quicky are the same ppl that has alot of excuses when they miss a turning while following waze or dont know a feature in grab app.

There are bound to be people that are less informed or unfamiliar. And yeah, while these ppl maybe ignorant, they can also be awfully unreasonable too after making a mistake... aunties comes to mind 😂

Ive been scolded by an auntie for going to wrong pup in a mall with multiple entrance... "Grab will automatic dtek where i am mah. How can be wrong" 😅

From my guess, he needs to protect his acceptance and cancellation rates. Thus he was forced to accept your ping and was hoping you'll cancel after waiting too long (cuz many riders do) hence he stopped at the roadside and had a cigg.....

Good you brought this up. For riders if you are late especially to yerport... call driver to get eta. Otherwise, be prepared for this, dont be late. Later kena trailer jump lane on elite then you cry.

Waze... has an inaccurate tag for TBS. If "TBS KL", waze will be to klia transit (downstairs). If TBS Mainlobby then its bus (upstairs).

I'm not sure Grab tag which to which hence sometimes correct sometimes wrong. So.. need to confirm.. i learned the hardway...

I'll automatically go upstairs as the hours I play tbs usually is bus peak times. But once, the pax was downstairs and i was already queuing upstairs. Apologised and requested pax to cancel, he obliged and i was happy, waiting to get another ping.. Got the next ping... Klia Transit 😖

Grudgingly made the big turn and was even waved down by the 1st pax.... he thought can offline me... lol..
