finally g disallow me continue on older version of g app, force me now into the latest version, just don't like it

5.37.0 - the last version that one still can see how many ppl rated in driver profile, no daily message received though until yesterday night cannot log in (actually i didn't drive 2 weeks already). after updated to latest can log in but then got message of 'spoofing gps' then force log out... don't know what happen

then today back to normal again, seems like the matter lie in grab server that not updated some phone model - some one mentioned in fb that ZTE phone got this problem then he went to hq get clarified about this matter, im using ZTE also for grab app.

so now after problem solved maybe i try reinstall back the old one later c work or not as i still prefer the old way it runs, i use app extract so got backup of original authentic app

normallah, as nowadays g pasenger has been pampered into some kind of super king. this is one among so-wrongs ehailing industry has created into market

taxi: take it from roadside
ehailing: order it via smartphone app, that's all. but passenger now treat ehailing as private driver:
a) want nice car
b) come into lobby even parking basement, wait me take lift
... ...
nah, rm5, take it!

so our advise just forget driver rating, as long as u stay on platform. as new driver also not eligible for incentive scheme anymore, so don't bother so much how many star u got. it is mere emotional personal taste rating, that being used by ALL APP COMPANY to 'control' their so-called PARTNER. AND THEY NEVER DARE LET THEIR CUSTOMER BEING RATED as most would show all low star customers out there and make customers feel not happy. COMPANY CARE CUSTOMER MORE THAN 'PARTNER', it no different or even worsen than tradisional company where later appreciate long time workers and try anything to keep them stay in company, but these new era app company treat 'partners' as 'high turnover rate', no intention to keep one long but instead wanna change fresh blood as fast as possibole so that newcomers 'bodoh bodoh' do anything for them.

that's y once gov step in asking ehailing regulation make them panic that new driver registration drops and when next year closing july dateline may see drastic drop of drivers in august as just what happened in singapore.

this is what happening when

ehailing driver regulated by gov
taxi driver regulated by gov
taxi company regulated by gov

but ehailing company no regulated by gov, only need apply a ehailing license as an operator - sound like boss, act like boss but he said he is no boss, merely providing app (with the help of a/many company lawyers who draw them a company 100% win agreement and force everybody to agree before entering)

so, after the mess of ehailing driver regulation settled, the gov must look into 'scope of power' of ehailing company that seems take it over from JPJ -
- set new rules (almost every week) as if a by-law of ehailing act
- power to sack driver

after driver getting a legal status (comply with all law regulations), it is same status as tradisional taxi. thus the power to ban driver lie in the hand of APAD, JPJ, not in private company . ehailing company only can submit an application to ban/lift the driver from its platform and submit all relevant evidence/fact to support the action, the decision must come after APAD decision after getting explanation from ehailing driver.

if without this, who dare to put full life career/support family on ehailing with new car loan and all gov regulation fees???

does this indicate job market still very weak?

2 new main factors now would kick grab & other ehailing ass:

1) car on ehailing sticker, just not yet know the size, the word, and where to paste on. source: from SPAD

2) ron95 subsidy: 30 sen for 100 litre only, source: from MOF budget 2019.. 100 litre only enough for few days usage per month, only RM30 (100l x 0.30)subsidy. the rest of days on market floating ron95 rate.

how can ehailing survive in "KEEP LOWERING FARE + EVER RISING COST" operating scenario?

winner still taxi with NGV on board, no worried star rating, do whatever can, ban?

"After five minutes cancel" - this one also got quota now, grab happily see u die or not...

so majority mentioned it is hard to earn $ driving grab alone now, better make it secondary income or temporarily

don't drive at night time /midnight - best way

as their thinking logic is after a whole day of business, driver is cash rich at night time

actually, we already have far more advanced high tech real time fare measuring mechanism long time ago ~~

dang dang = the taxi meter, just need manually press on

billion r&d + angel funding = estimated fare based on past data, what a shame!

grab should just deploy meter alike machine, calibrate the rate, and using bluetooth wireless to transfer the fare result to app, dang dang, done = ACTUALL FARE

airport macam fixed price already, no effect.

some more they are watching mycar and other s*hai ehailing company pricing for airport job like the one quote rm55...

no AA also got 0.40/min all day long

AA on MP only got 0.20 more per min and if u want to earn that u should expect what coming to your AA

taxi no need protest lah, grab driver would do self-filtering one... kakaka

good luck to pampered passenger after 12/7/2019 slow slow wait for driver, if got any around, and willing to accept

you were lucky after brought into bukit bintang area, the (AI) AA did not assigned pavillion <>berjaya <> klcc job, where other drivers complaint about cancellation jobs, low time booster fare and serious jam and just shut down the app leave KL.

i don't like saturday, it more jam than weekdays, too many cars on the road

need not wait july, starting from 2nd quarter , march onwards

only 100 litre ron95 subsidy

ppl in pavillion bukit bintang area should all take mrt and monorail to leave KL then only book grab at nearest station
