sg buloh got. but they cant give straight answer if 100% kd or not.
so we got ours from sawmill (collect from KD site) to be sure. wasting time to use potentially curved nyatoh to build furniture

Thanks.

Any chance you can share the location of the sawmill?

what kind of wood are you looking for and length?

if can fit alza like 7feet boards, no problem to send them to ipoh from klang valley.
finding the stocks of material /wood specis is more important than the location of seller.

Wow, what a good news for me!
Yeah, because it's not easy to get nice wood in my area so my initial plan is to get any hardwood/ recommended by seller. Still a beginner so Im too new to tell what kinda wood I would like to get.

The main project is to build fences to block stray dogs from entering my parents house. And yeah, many more, from a chopping board to a cloth organizer, console table and shelving units.

balau would be suitable for fences/and a door/gate

as for the others in bold.. naturally i might suggest white oak since i use them often in my existing projects

Recently, i went to Sunway Pyramid Shopping Centre, wow, their CNY decoration is simply touching my heart !

Although it is not real wood, but the way it reproducing Chinese Culture is really blowing mind ! It is just like a small area of Fujian in China.

What an excellent thread, some very interesting projects going on here.

I do follow a lot of wood-working channels on YouTube that are mostly from Canada and USA.

Alas these days I rarely ever do any wood working as have a little baby and can't use powertools at home.

Does anyone have any good places to source for veneers, more specifically walnut and maple veneers?
