for redmi 5a onward... Miui phone with fake rom your phone will show unofficial rom & u can't bind the account with fake rom.

the only way is open up the backcover use testpoint method to enter EDL.

If with 16+2gb RAM people can still 'survive', why 32+ 3gb RAM cannot ? What you need is a good management

Actually gt solution , just see u dare to do it or not .use test point mode flash back to china dev rom than request unlock bootloader (normally need wait 360hour), after approval flash again to global stable . if not just send back to directd only

It 'used' to be I was not a heavy user. But then I found out some apps were useful... Uber, Grabcar, then some more apps and some more apps...

Seriously though, these apps keep updating and hogging up space. Xiaomi OS and Google itself also installs a godly amount of apps... I had to block and uninstall most of these bloatware to keep things manageable

Ah, yes, I noticed that too.

But if you think your future usage will not change so much than your current usage, no worry.

Even if left only 1gb free of storage , that's still plenty.

Thanks for the advice. Yeah, getting too expensive a phone also no point unless use for a minimum of 3+ years.
