got my 5+ from mobile2go, with china stable rom. but that was early jan, maybe their stocks now are fake global, but it doesnt hurt to go give it a try.

alternatively for about the same price, mi max 2 lah, spec oso lebih kurang sama, just bigger sized.

my fren bought huawei nova lite instead of redmi 5a. Any thoughts?

new miui 9 got lower resolution mode like huawei 720p or samsung etc etc?

wanna buy to bot game only so if plus variant cannot lower resolution might take redmi 5 which come with 720p screen, since both are adreno 506 less loaded gpu theoretically less heat over night and maybe less throttle?

I noticed from miui forum, lots and lots of pipu use fastboot method to flash their global rom. nobody is talking about recovery method. i wonder why?

so fastboot already appear on miui to download....so how to do it flash from fake rom?? anyone can gift the link...could not find the rite on...

to my understanding, u need to testpoint flash china rom, unlock bootloader only can flash fastboot.

but i was wondering if you can flash testpoint might as well flash the global rom instead of china rom?

Received my unit from WOW phone today. Everything was OK until I update to the latest MIUI 9. Then it stuck on the Boot Screen and now I can't do anything with the phone......HELP!

luckily I returned my unit already , just waiting the item to be ship to lazaza & refund

the only way is test point , open up the phone your warranty will be voided

bear the risk by getting cheap item

Point is, the phone is already not sealed upon receiving. The box is already opened. I can assume DirectD had flashed with the unofficial ROM. Which upon update to latest MIUI, it was not able to proceed.

Still can be return for refund within 7 days. just see if any sifu here have any solution.

For 99% of AP set not in sealed conditions.

open up back cover ... use testpoint... no other way right now...

even u connect to PC u can't do anything...

only test point mode to enter EDL... that all

Guys, will Redmi 5+ with 3gb RAM and 32gb storage suffice? Not really a heavy user... but just that apps seem to be hogging more and more storage all the time and afraid apps will hang with insufficient RAM.
