HI all,

I think I found the right forum to ask this question. I would love to own a merc but because of limited budget I can only afford around RM200K hence has to be a recond merc. My question is what model and year is the most optimum to fit in the budget? And is there any areas I should be aware of with recond Merc. Also if can recommend a dealer would be most appreciated. Thank you.

Can get a New B class around that budget! With 4 yrs warranty. The difference is the warranty ! Also...used versus new!

Ha..ha...I personally not a fan of cla. To me it's cut and paste! I prefer the A class though! GLK is also under my radar. Not sure MBM is launching this model.

Ya was just browsing and noticed A-Class looks good too.

I wonder when is the new W204 model coming up? Looks like end of the year, wish it could be earlier.

A-Class vs. C-Class what's the difference?

Thinking of Getting C200 CGI/Kompressor Recon or Reused 2010.

I worry about the sudden maintenance about the car.
About the Central Lock, the Light Motor or Battery leakage.

Please let me know whether this car is stable or not?
Some said No problem for long term.
Some said Lot of Problem. Headache a!

My friend's W204 FL (local unit) has no issue so far after 2 years plus. The only thing that he doesn't like is the Eco mode. He shut it off as our weather and traffic condition is just not suitable.

Another thing is the brake pad. I thought it could last longer than 2 years. - -

I am driving a c-class w203, few days ago few thieves attemp to steal it, luckily we spot before they did.
Saw that and decided to add some "security" gadget to slow them down or hope that they will giv up due to additional trouble/time costs to steal an old merc.
Bought a pedal lock "solex am999".. But the clamping gap just too small and cant fit w203 brake pedal link.
Wonder what to do now.
Any suggestions??
If anyone has any suggestions, pls reply or pm me.
Urgently need help sad.gif
