mind sharing what are they key difference?

I've been exploring those 2 but seems like the A250 has higher displacement, more fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

The standard equipment seem to be same.

Hi. Some key differences are:

a) 1.6cc turbocharged (A200) vs 2.0cc turbocharged (A250)
b) AMG parts (suspension, sport rims, bodykit) on the A250
c) red angel eyes ring on the projector lights of A250
d) Diamond grill on the A250
e) interior aircond vents with red rings
f) more details you can refer to http://www.mercedes-benz.com.my/content/ma...model-navi:w176

Wow... i didn't know u consider AMG parts as cosmetic?? Those are performance upgrades. Even I test drive both A200 and A250, A250 has better response and handling.

point A and B is the key different the rest are cosmetic with a batch of sport introduction. and you guys should see A45 AMG (variant 1) coming in by september or october, but unfortunately for the first badge only 20 unit have been order and all sold out.
A250 does feel different if compare to A200 but if you are not a fan of sport tuning you might find the ride is a little bit stiff and hard less comfort compare to A200.

Before the A-Class was launched, a sales advisor who posted a pre-launch booking listing on oto.my listed the A45 AMG for RM338,888. When the launch date eventually comes around we’ll see if he was right – he did get the RM199k and RM239k price tags right for the A200 and A250 Sport.

I did not manage to test drive A250. The A200 ride is already stiff. I was quite surprised by it as I thought it would be towards comfortable ride. If the A250 is even stiffer, I can only imagine how bumpy it could get.

It is overly stiff for this small car. If it is sports series, I can understand the rationale for the stiff suspension.

With the condition of our road, it is quite an uncomfortable ride. Perhaps it is just me.

Having said that I do not mind to have a A250 as a joyride hot hatch.

Well for me i have been driving adjustable and customade absorbers and hope the A250 is not too hard like last time my rides.

Anyway, still a long way to go when the car can be delivered. sad.gif

Hard is better than soft ma for spiritual driving. The key is how responsive is the gear box. My w204 is a total let down.

anybody knows how much CLA will cost when it arrives next year? From somewhere I read its 280k! Which is ALOT...I understand that CLA is supposed to be cheaper than C class but because C class is CKD it is possible that the price will be higher in malaysia. But then, the A200 is 200k and I don't expect the CLA200 to be more than 240k...280k is too much

AFAIK, there is no definite price structure yet. It is very likely that it costs more than the current CKD W204. The CLA looks more handsome than the W204 and that should appeal more younger buyers to MB.

For now, I am hoping to see some spy shots of W205 as it is set to replace W204 next year.
