Hi all i just starting to trade forex, and i've pick XM as my broker. As of today, is it still safe to trade with them? so much negative feedbacks on the forexpeacearmy website. Also, what do you guys suggest for the deposit and withdrawal method? Online transfer, Credit cards, or skrill/ neteller? I'm trading with a small amount first. Any recommendation and opinion will be greatly appreciated smile.gif

High spread, cancelling the profitable trade, abrupt margin during news.
even you hit TP and goes beyond, your trade will not close [Gap] - this is normal days, not news.

There are so many ways to 'cuci' the money.

1. Create a stock broking acount in Singapore. Send all your money to that account then remit the money back through the stock broking company. If BNM asks you, you can say profit from shares trading. Just hope that they won't ask for your statement.

2. Send the money from your overseas account to your friend or relatives overseas account. Then ask him to send to your Malaysian account as 'Gift'. Don't put 'Donation' please.

There are many more efficient ways but it is only worth it when you have a large sum of money.

nice one. Also BTC as another mean /vehicular for it.

Echo this. They are pursuing Malaysian customers aggressively, probably one of their largest sources of income.
Be warned.

Hi All,

Does anyone heard of XM trading group and also payment gateway Netteller

XM trading group - https://www.xm.com/about

Netteller - https://www.neteller.com

Question
1. Is it safe and reliable to use XM as a platform for forex trading?
2. Is it safe to use Netteller as a payment gateway?

There is a lot info at google, but i would like to know if anyone at here have personally experience it and share their advise.

Thanks

Hi all sifus, I've been reading baby pips a while now, thinking want try with real life small small ... My friend recommended me this broker call GMI Edge. Anyone heard of this before? I'm abit skeptical because:

1) When I google about it, got few forum say it's a scam BUT the topics are all started by the same person and same content and screenshot. 1 of the forum got people reply saying ok can withdraw and stuff. Of course my friend also say he managed to withdraw
2) When i sign up, they asking to provide documents like IC copy, bank card copy, address proof and stuff. Is this normal for opening an account? I didn't submit anything yet.

Really worry about all the scam stuff ...

Most of the spot forex broker are scam ( they trade against you )

mean you Buy - they Sell

they have certain trick to take your trade to losses. ( if you have a Stop Loss placed )

If you going to try , suggest you try 50usd or less with a micro account maybe.

You are going to loss this money for sure.

Thanks for reply, how do we know they are spot forex brokers? So they are similar to those black 4d guys I guess? They "eat" our money?

I see that they also trade on MT4 which is very common? How can they control my money (assume I have the skills) I mean how can they be different than others? I mean if I lose, I lose anyway. If I win they can don't give me money? =/

Open acc with Australian FX brokers if u want max 400 leverage. Go with Axitrader or Pepperstone.

GMI Edge? Can... its only 1-way. U can donate but u cannot recall back your deposits & winnings (if any)

the broker you mention was never been heard before

the comment above are some " heard " broker , atleast you can get your money back ( withdrawal ) , there were alot more FXCM XM ICmarket Pepperstone Oanda Hotforex
etc etc

Yes , black 4d

MT4 was a platform and commonly use on spot forex regardless broker

1. they SL hunt you ( take you out at your Stop Loss price )
2. they reject withdrawal

Trading Spot Forex on Malaysia are illegal

Futures are different but min. price was 500usd and min. price movement per point was 5usd ( for what i know )

if 10point move = 50usd , 10point was consider very minimal move.

this was also why people go to spot forex.

there were true spot forex broker i think LMAX but min. deposit was higher.
