Hi All sifu, I'm a beginner and wanting to learn. I saw first post and saw many useful links so I'll start there. Thanks for that

However I've heard many "rumours" saying forex is illegal in Malaysia and you need a SG bank account and all, is that true? Based on 1st post, these brokers are legit? Which 1 are you guys using the most? Thanks.

Hi all sifus, I've been reading baby pips a while now, thinking want try with real life small small ... My friend recommended me this broker call GMI Edge. Anyone heard of this before? I'm abit skeptical because:

1) When I google about it, got few forum say it's a scam BUT the topics are all started by the same person and same content and screenshot. 1 of the forum got people reply saying ok can withdraw and stuff. Of course my friend also say he managed to withdraw
2) When i sign up, they asking to provide documents like IC copy, bank card copy, address proof and stuff. Is this normal for opening an account? I didn't submit anything yet.

Really worry about all the scam stuff ...

Most of the spot forex broker are scam ( they trade against you )

mean you Buy - they Sell

they have certain trick to take your trade to losses. ( if you have a Stop Loss placed )

If you going to try , suggest you try 50usd or less with a micro account maybe.

You are going to loss this money for sure.

Thanks for reply, how do we know they are spot forex brokers? So they are similar to those black 4d guys I guess? They "eat" our money?

I see that they also trade on MT4 which is very common? How can they control my money (assume I have the skills) I mean how can they be different than others? I mean if I lose, I lose anyway. If I win they can don't give me money? =/
