XM so far so good.

I have Oanda too. Crappy chart. Always freezed... unable to close trades. Low leverage... scary.

Note 1 : Those who are looking for fund managers/investments here, you prob won't have enough to make a decent investment. If you do, you would have instead gone with your banks Priority or Private banking.

Note 2 : Those who promote as fund managers - for users, pls check credentials before asking others to manage yr "fund". Your fund might be your entire savings and pls don't lose that amount to fraud cases.

Do you guys think a forex competition organized by those broker was ridiculous?

If you could earn 300% or 1000% returns on that month, why would you care the 1000$ prize? biggrin.gif

Today I funded my trading account with USD, using Maybank debit card.
The exchange rate was 4.1583
Damn expensive.
How do you all usually fund your account? What's the cheapest way?

I would like to touch on the easy withdrawal part.

Regulated forex brokers would have easy withdrawal process.

The problem lies with where we live. Over here, retaail forex trading is sort of in the "gray area".
The moment the bank see the word "FOREX" in the withdrawal item, then the transaction will be blocked, hence making the process "difficult".

flowerhorn08 that makes perfect sense. Currently how are the traders making the withdrawal? Is there a proper channel to withdraw or specific banks? I read through here and some had warning from banks.

This is only my thought.

I think some brokers use a local agent or middleman (most probably IB) here. When the trader want to deposit, he/she will deposit to the agent local bank account. For withdrawal. they will make a request to the agent and the agent will transfer the money from his/her account to the trader account.
