Very nice MACD convergence pattern forming in the EU and GU H4 chart.

(MACD convergence pattern = Price making lower lows while the MACD is making higher lows)

It is indicative that downward momentum is waning and a short-term trend reversal is just around the corner.
Hence, it might be a good time to book profits/secure short positions that are currently open.
More aggressive traders may consider scaling-in long positions with each dip.

For those who might want to read up more on the MACD, this link is quite good indeed:

Hello, all the sifus

So recently i tried on XM(DEMO), the platform they offer are Metatrader 4, i am not sure if i use it correctly, but for example zooming in/out for me on phone is not really user friendly and etc

I tried OANDA after that, Demo too. The functionality of the apps is exact what i needed, kinda similar with tradingview. Two fingers too zoom, swipe right to move the chart previously, two fingers to zoom in/out for the pricing point.

Then, i am stuck now and kinda confuse on what shall i pick. Reading too much recommendations make me even harder. Then we have brokers type like MM, STP and ECN.

So, here's my questions. Me and my friends are trying to start off with real money

1) If he has only Rm1,000, i suppose picking a STP broker shall be a better choice for him because it don't charge commissions on spread but just the spread itself is bigger compare to ECN, am i right?

2) ICmarkets? Any review on this? Seems like they offer both Standard/ True ECN account

Pick the highest leverage. But start trading with the smallest lot.

May I know what brokers do you all use, and why?
For me, I'm trying to find a broker with low or no fee for funding deposit.

Is there a way to view an MT4 account (with server, password and account number) without having MT4 installed?

Why don't you install MT4? It's easier because you can copy using an EA written in mql language.

Can you explain your situation on why you could not use MT4? Maybe we could help.

Like the other member suggested, If web client is available then it would be easy.

In case your broker does not provide the web interface, just use the MT4 to write the trades into a file (local directory) and use cTrader to read them.
