Actually, dialogue option doesn't change. Only minor ones.

Even if the paladin babe goes into the rad chamber (which is stupid because I have Charon and the Super Mutant dude who both HEAL from radiation, but can't get either one to go), the ending doesn't seem to be any different.

As for paradise falls, it's a missed opportunity. Not much going on there, and the people in that city are plain boring.

Or maybe its because I just played Arcanum and had to compare poor FO3 to that piece of gem. Sorry, I know its unfair.

awesome story but a little short..(it ended on a high note too)

^ COD4 storyline was no-where near good (cliche here and there) but their storytelling was the best in recent year release. that what makes people & me WOWing over it.

that is always guaranteed to work in FPS. in RPG, we need more than that. even tho Arcanum is in pseudo-3D, it beat FO3's arse real good.

Its just minor ones and how your companions react also is pretty different. Super Mutant thingy sucks , its large and sometimes it blocks my path and such. Pfft



Radiation is Radiation. If you're being exposed to Radition for a long time , you'll lose some sats and if your G.M Counter shows your rad is > 1000 you'll die. You can get Rad-X or see a doctor to heal your radiation !

Nope , I hated Halo and COD Series.

If no dialog, how to know the storyline? Walk around, shoot shoot ppl, but not a single dialog or story... felt like playing CS only.

Like in GTA4, you won't know wtf is going now if you skip all the cutscenes.

good dialog and bad dialog are 2 different things. any monkey can come out with dialog, take FO3 for example. bravo for you for coming out with the obvious, here's a rock.


oh please. just because majority of games released recently suck doesn't mean we need to generalize it that way.

COD4, Arcanum, TOEE, Constructor, Deus EX can be considered as good games. Fallout 1 & 2, Vampire : Bloodlines, X-COM, BG2, Diablo were among great games.

there's no perfect game exist in this world but there are horrible games.. fallout 3 is one of them

yeah. i'm just comparing Fallout 3 to other *great* games before it. same as how fan of Fallout 3 will bash Fallout 4.

the single player was never the selling point of cod4, i cant believe you keep wowing the single player mode

well, shooting/shooting/shooting in its so called great multiplayer mode was its selling point too .. to console-tard and CS-tard. even tho COD4 single player was short but it was polished and well presented. give me another pure FPS that presented its story like COD4 in recent years.

sadly, i wasn't talking about volume sold. i'm talking about game quality. i guess i shouldn't blame <put id here> because cool hype do attract tards.

Hmmm, I can think of a couple of "perfect" games

If we are talking about CRPGs, Planescape Torment pwns all...nothing comes close. Deus Ex was also phenomenal (Bethesda wanted to copy it but failed miserably...hahaha)

Fallout 3 sucks big time. It had so much potential and they blew it. Damn those incompetent devs!!
