Thanks for tips. Can't wait to try on the power armor. Have met a few Brotherhood outcast but I really don't know what's up with them. No side quest and they just walk around and I try to tag along until they go in to metro or a building which I cannot follow, even if I go in they will not be there.
I really feel your pain. I was in the middle of playing Morrowind when my 17inch Dell gaming laptop was lost in a house breakin. I still have the original cds but I can't find the heart to reinstall and continue until the end. Still in trauma from it.
Just stumble upon a deathclaw on the way to Vault 112 and now I know what you guys were talking about. So I would say no thank you to the medic power armor. Maybe in the next fallout life

Valut 112 is crazy. Nevertheless , managed to get my rig running. It seems that PSU blown out (thank god , just the PSU alone). Replaced it and so far so good , knock on wood. I'll recover all the stuff and try to continue
Man , so sorry to hear on ya loss of your lappie. I know how is it like
You'll have to progress on in-game in order to activate certain side quests , otherwise it wouldn't just work. Even if you discover them. Anyway , once you have done escorting Doctor Li to Brotherhood's place. Then head back to Vault 101 back. Your Pipboy 3000 should pickup ER Radio Signal. Then you may do that side-quest. Its like dynamic as you progress on , more quests will be avaliable to you. I am not sure , at this point. Its important to finish all side-quests first and level up to 15-20 (thats what the wiki said) and then only proceed to main quest
My main points : speech , barter and medic + small guns
Speech = gets me through on most of the stuff , like free money , i dont have to use violence and I can get my way in to anything. Pretty much its very handy in different kind of situations
