I sign one year contract and it is 6th month now and i pay monthly. If i quit without complete the contract, will true fitness issue lawyer letter to me ? I already tell them want to quit, but they seems give a lots reasons and deny my request. Please advise base on your experience. Thank you

Check to see if they have a clause in your contract that says you can pay a penalty fee for cancelling early. I know Fitness First has that. If you can find it show it to them and they cannot deny you that right.

Don't ever attempt to accept their free trial. If u rejected their sales person packages or offer, they will ask y u wanna go for trial. All the machine at any fitness center is the same. Duh... Y in the first place I'm invited to come over for trial then? Waste of time and rude attitude! The worst club ever...

Take it easy, it's supposed with no obligation. If they ever asked again, you ask "Do I have the rights to remain silent?".. I had a few trials, never faced such problem. Sometimes maybe just some dumbass & desperadoes

True Fitness Jaya 33 totally make me disappoint. Since last few months ago, man steam room has out of service more than 1 months but haven't fix it.. All the guys need to queue in front of sauna room and waiting..

Now, gym threadmill machine in ground floor having issue. Almost 15++machine was out of office. There have 20 plus machine there but only 9 machines available to use. Damn disappointed. Some people will stand behind the machine waiting to use that machine. Some people was waiting more than 15 mins.. Well, I went up 1st floor, also same.. 4 machines was down and only left 9 machines available but always occupy by other people.. Same here, need wait around 15 to 30 minutes.

There is not use if make any complaint in front of the customer service. Even I direct talk to the branch manager, he only replied " We are still waiting vendor".. Well, good answer.. Shit tofitness 33. I really regret to join this gym but already paid off the gym fees and my membership card will expired on 2017.

I joined True Fitness Jaya33 2 years ago sometimes in April/May 2012, signed one year contract but ended up only went for 8 months as I hurt my ankle. The thing is, they continued to debit my credit card every month until today. What should I do? I cant find the agreement/ contract I signed earlier. Sigh.. I have been busy with my wedding/baby all these while that I juz sat on the matter.

Anyone has any advice? Thanks.

yea lor. stupid consultant. her name is yen la. when call alwiz she is not around or busy. then never follow up anything. if i get lawyer letter, can i juz ignore it? now i am in brunei. imagine i oredi wasted how much on my phone bills oredi. been calling them like more than 10 times.
*
Dont worry, they would not engage a lawyer to sue you in court as it would costs more than the amount you owe them. The lawyer's letter is just to scare you into paying. IMO I dont think there is much that they can do if you dont pay other than harass you as they cant put your record into CTOS or anything.

Approach them and told them you want to terminate or freeze the memberships. They have a duplicate copy of the agreement and need not refer to your copy.

There is also no need to tell them that you have lost a copy of the agreement.
